hello!
I have filled and emptied the DW; run a washload through, dried it (towels so no ironing - woot!) and rehomed most of the ironing which was airing.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -

Food scoffed.. and all the washing dried, folded and away.. TD on again and the wash baskets upstairs being filled for tomorrows washfest.
DW needs 1 more lot run through.. I've done 4 today! My kitchen looks disgusting due to lack of sweeping brush.. I really need to sort that but have £25 for food/bread/milk etc this week so can't justify buying a new brush.
Acknowledgement of DS3's DLA claim received today.. that's taken 5 weeks so let's see if they take 6 months to sort it this time!!! That was ridiculous last year!

Kids in bed. Rice portioned up, leftovers tubbed, DW loaded and I need to do a bit of ironing. I feel annoyed and I'm not sure why.
DS got my back up by saying something rude whilst asking for my ipad then sulked when I told him no. Was warned to eat dinner as the longer he sulked the less playtime there is. Then my mum called whilst I'm trying to sort dinner and was a bit short when I said I'd ring her back, then saw she'd put something g inappropriate on FB (just on a group message, but there are under 18s in that group). Then DD was rude to me after dinner and MIL is bringing the kids more stuff, after seeing me trying clear everything out!
Argh. Its nothing really. Feel better now
Will get ironing board out and stop whinging...Bossymoo

Posting from the hotel, have been snacking on junk, crisps and cereal bars, but my MSE ways mean I haven't ordered room service as even though I'm not paying the prices are aaagh!
Flying wise: at home this morning, 2 washloads done and on airer, hoovered quickly through house, walked dogs, popped to shop, wudupa. Have left the house pretty tidy, it had better be the same on Wednesday night.
Here I have put my clothes on hangers.
Have a great evening everyone. Going to log off as I'm not convinced the wifi is free.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi all
Thanks for the lists this week Natty - hope new kitty is settling in.
Welcome newbies & returners. to the lurkers
Pigpen hope you feel better soon. Dot ordering your OH out of bed made me lol
Bossy hope the mini-moos attitudes improve. I don't blame your annoyance with you MIL, I know she means well but when you've decluttered and if you're like me something's need a lot of consideration before getting rid of it feels like you're getting nowhere fast.
The workmen have started replacing the guttering, I believe it's the original from 1927  apparently it came down very easily  the side of the house has been done so far and looks amazing. Hopefully it will make it easier to sell.
Feeling much better this week, my head isn't as cluttered as it was and I know what I have to do now. I'm not ready to speak to someone about it yet and I'm not going to force myself to. I did tx one of my friends though who said I haven't given myself enough credit for the way I handled myself especially with the way late OH's family treated me.
Flying:
LR, HSL hettyed
WM on clean cycle with tea towels in
Washing hung on indoor line
Having a problem with a cat coming in and eating my two's food and generally upsetting them. I've chased him off a few times and he doesn't look like a stray - anyone got any tips? He is a persistent little fellow

When we were on honeymoon, I ran out of duty free booze on the last dayWe had a mini bar in our room and I was tempted by a miniature of Bombay Sapphire gin -- that was, until I looked at the price list and saw it was over £12!! I couldn't help but think, I paid less than that for a litre at the duty free! All of a sudden I wasn't that thirsty
I have cooked a nommy dinner, even if I do say so myself, and have bossed DS1 and DSS into washing up. DH passed comment on how clean and tidy the place was when he got home, bless him everything0 -
Heh, pigpen, I'm loving the scarf and bare legs combination.
She got noodles on her tights so had to take them off.. and she wore the scarf all day! The mitts got sticky when she had an apple so they are in the wash, but she started off with those on too..
The little mare is not going to sleep after her epic nap.. more eye drops and a dose of calpol required I think.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well the day didnt exactly go according to plan. 9 hours of paid stuff. No flying at all. I promised DS2 that I would do some reading with him so I still have that to do.
Hugs to those feeling a bit down/poorly. Ah pigpen she is a cutie, I would borrow her for an afternoon.
