hi all, does anyone know the exact name of this tariff as im starting to look for next years tariffs, mine ends april 15th.
when using the cheap energy club comparison i am using "better energy fixed (pre 09/04/14)" from the pull down menu but im not certain this is right, on ovo it just says "Better Energy Fixed (all online)".
any hints or tips would be helpful.

My OVO fix was due to end 29th or 30th April ;when I did comparisons to switch in late Oct. last year I used pre 9/4/14 tariff as the unit rates were as per my original contracted rates( -I had tried to move onto later April tariff but had no success with OVO ).

thanks dave, ive used 9/4/14 but the unit rates dont match and nor do several others ive tried.

makes it a bit awkward to get a true comparison.
not being with ovo a year yet i dont have a years usage, i do have my usage for 12/13 so been trying that but my usage has changed.

The problem you have is OVO not 'versioning' their tariffs they release a new tariff with the same name as the old one but with different prices. They call this a price change but it only impacts new customers and makes it incredibly hard for users on the old prices to use comparison sites.

I think Uswitch get round this by adding a date onto the end of the tariff name when selecting your current OVO tariff.

thanks, i will have a look at uswitch, ive also emailed ovo too ask them as well.

just checked uswitch and it has the same options as the others do "Better Energy Fixed (Pre 15.05.2014)" doesnt fit either, the electric is dead right but the gas is wrong.
