cos overall Petsathome are not that cheap - they do the odd special offer but overall the other sites are better.

I have to say I am having a horrible time with zooplus. I received someone else's order, and 3 weeks and a couple of emails down the line, I am still waiting for a courier to pick up the wrong parcel, & deliver me my actual order.

I'm in Northern Ireland and have used Zooplus and Vetuk - both have given good service and prices, so no complaints from me. Don't think Zooplus ship from Germany, but from UK.

Zooplus definitely ship from Germany, you can track your parcel (using the parcel number in the despatch email) from Germany to the UK/NI on the Parcelforce website. They're sent by a German courier, GLS, when they get to the UK it's taken over by Parcelforce.

Must admit, delivery has usually taken about same time, as mainland dispatches to NI, so I have never bothered to look - I stand corrected Spooky.

I have recently ordered some Seraquin from PetMeds, they were for the record £8.00 cheaper than Vet Medic. Also they claim that they will match any price that you give them from any other supplier, and the postage is free. My order turned up the following day as promised......why can't more companies be like them.

Have just had my first order with Petmeds - and was over the moon! Saved over £11.00 on the price for worming tablets for my tribe from my vets - P&P free, and service absolutely excellent:D .

Vets really do need to re-think their pricing policy on simple things like wormers and flea treatment, or they will loose the respect of their customers in all respects.

Mind, the flipping stuff is still vastly over-priced even on line - so maybe the manufacturers are just too greedy:D

  • I really like Muttley and Mog.co.uk, very quick and efficent. Dont like PetsAtHome nor Pets Corner. both very expensive and slow service

I'd like to add http://www.feedem.co.uk/ to the list. I placed my first order with them yesterday, for 2X15Kg James Wellbeloved dry dog food. The prices were the best I could find anywhere, at £34.99 per bag including free delivery. Delivery was made this morning (from Cleveland to Essex), just 23.5 hours after placing the order.

vetuk were cheaper than this on wellbeloved Cat last time i looked (£17.33 per 5kg but diff prices to dog anyway), might be worth having a look at their dog range, if you haven't already.

that reminds me - must order more or will have a hungry mog!

p.s. wow! cat is £37.99 for only 10kg & you get 15kg for £34.99 for dog, that's discrimination!!
  • just placed an order with ChemistDirect, a bit unexpected but they worked out cheapest.

Wellbeloved Cat Senior 5kg (largest size avail) - £18.69 each with £2.95 delivery.

VetUK has increased to £22.25 each for the same size/type.
  • Pets at home are doing a 15kg bag of hills science plan for £37.99 with an extra 3kg free

I've found pets at home cheaper than all the other sites on the main post, even with their own discounts
