this is the first time I have posted here, I am always reading to pick up great advice.

Saw this website and seemed to be cheapest around for frontline and drontal, loads of other stuff as well, and no postage charges, great quick service as well.

hope I have done this right!!

I've recently bought puppy nutrition products from hyperdrug.co.uk - very good prices, food - Arden Grange and Proplan from http://www.berriewoodwholesale.co.uk cheapest so far for these brands, good delivery prices came the next day - much cheaper and faster than Zooplus or Pet-Supermarket and general puppy accessories from http://www.puppyluvsme.co.uk - I gotta a voucher code for 10% off from my breeder - PUP08 - valid until the end of September and a free gift with every order at the moment.

I'm soooooo fed up of seeing extortionate postage charges for delivery to the Highlands. Since when has the Highlands not been part of mainland UK?!

From my own experience, I found a courier who delivered from IV8 to Brighton for about £6! And Royal Mail charge the same up here as they do for the rest of the country!!

So I just don't use suppliers who have these ridiculous charges (eg Surrey Pet Supplies, Berriewood...) although they may be cheaper before adding on the inflated postage cost.

I have recently used PetPlanet though (free delivery :) ) and was very impressed, the ParcelForce driver even lugged the boxes around to the back of my house to keep them out of the rain for me :D . Alas, PP were doing Burns dog food at a reduced price which has now gone up - but 45kg should keep my beastie going for a while!

Incidentally, Berriewood say they use Parcelforce as well - so why the vast difference on postage?

    Keeping costs down!
I will stick to ordering main food direct from Burns & litter from Zooplus. Reason whilst I would love to consolidate my ordering & minimise carbon footprint of cats
Zooplus delivery charges are cheap & not determined by weight - I just got 28kg of talc scented clumping for £15 - they often do special offers like that - as it lasts 3 times longer than `ordinary' clumping & smells so much better I will stockpile it (sometimes in hard times I mix it with woodchip or Aldie/Liddles fullers earth).
Unfortunately they do not stock Burns. I did also treat the cats to Reindeer pate (Swedish brand), German organic Liver dried food & cat collars (which they need for their catflap magnets) to bring the total up slightly over £29 = free delivery.

About the same time as Northern Ireland - p**s me off too.

But at least your suppliers have no water to cross. Some suppliers courier deliver to us foc on a minimum order cost. However, the ones that use Royal Mail seem to think we are on a parallel planet.

Pet Planet have free deliveries on everything over £29.00 (or £3.99 if under).
Have just ordered Hills Science Plan x 5kg and some household flea spray to bring the order to over £29.00. Seems to me to be the cheapest so far. :)
