  • Hello, can anyone recommend a good place for Royal Canin dry dog food. My cocker spaniel was at the vets today with badly infected anal glands & the vet (Companion Care @ PAH) recommended it. I have 2 dogs so like to buy 15kg bags. Thanks.

I buy 15kg bags of Arden Grange for my dog from berriewoodwholesale.co.uk and I find they're the cheapest. They sell Royal Canin too, so might be worth having a look? Very simple and reliable delivery too :)

I normally live in the DIY forum :) however having recently found out my sprocker is allergic to beef & dairy products and all the hassle i've had trying to source the right treats I thought i'd share some of my 'successes'

The advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

I know they are mentioned in the very first post but Berriewood wholesalse pet supplies are great. We have two St Bernards and also find Big Dog World to be a great place to start.

    (Sorry too new for links):)

Just used Viovet. Seem very professional. Eager to please. Would recommend them.
  • OK ... not strictly "pets" but in my experience most pet owners tend to be rather fond of wildlife too!

Anyone who spends a small fortune on buying wild bird food may be interested to know that 'Farm and Pet Place' http://www.farmandpetplace.co.uk/ supply bulk bags of seed for wild birds in several different 'qualities' ... it's delivered quickly, and delivery is *free*!

This is definitely the cheapest supplier that I've found ... I buy the "Dr Green Wild Bird Food" in huge 20kg sacks for £9.99. A sack lasts for ages, and I have a garden full of very well-nourished birdies! (By comparison ... for example ... a small 2kg bag from economy store Wilkinsons costs £2.75)

I think its fair to add Mr Pets (mrpets.co.uk) to the list. They have really good prices compared to my local vet, I've ordered from them a couple of times and I've not had any issues!
  • I spend a lot of time browsing the forums but have never posted, so I thought it was about time I shared.

I have recently used directpetfoods for my Royal Canin. It was the cheapest place I could find online, not heard of them before but my order arrived next day so I was happy.

It says I can't post a link as a new user, but its easy enough to find on google. You will know when you find it, everything is bright green.

Wish I had waited as I got an email today saying there is 5% off everything this weekend using their code.

The code is DPET5, I have just tried it and its not working yet but the email said 15th and 16th of june.

    Hope that helps someone.
