Just used Animed Direct. No problems, cheap with good reviews, fast delivery. No messing around with close-to-expiry meds.

Has anyone bought supplies from eBay? I did a search on some cat flea treatment, and a seller on eBay came up. They seemed reasonable in terms of feedback. the product says it is in the UK. It's not ridiculously cheaper, but there are savings to be made - just a bit worried they may not be genuine.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

Check the sellers feedback. If they've only recently began to trade there is always a doubt whether product will be genuine - but if they have a lot of positive feedback it should be ok. Let us know how you get on.

Swell Pets. Best for Arden Grange (by 1p!) and immediate dispatch.

EDIT: Arrived 3 days later with a w/e in the middle. Classic AG, rather than the breeder bags, so no guilty feelings :) .

I like CSJ for their dry complete dog food. I get two 15kg sacks delivered for £30, so it works out at £1 a kilo, and it's excellent quality too.

Has anyone used this, or have any ideas on if it works to repell fleas?
I have just bought a dog and he has come with a lot of fleas!

There are certain scents that some insects seem to dislike. The neem in the product is one of those. Some other products use rosemary and cedar oils. They are generally considered to be safe and non toxic (if used properly).

These can be applied to the bedding or pet. They are not designed to kill the fleas though.

I use them in conjunction with spot on treatments which only start working once the flea is feeding.

Amazon have launched a service called 'subscribe and save' - you sign up for a bag of food to be delivered every month/two months and get an extra 10% or so off each bag. MUCH cheaper than the other sources I was looking at.

I've set it up for a bag to be delivered every 2 months, but you can choose, right up to 6 months apart. And if you look in danger of running out, you can order an extra bag (at the discounted price).

They are generally considered to be safe and non toxic (if used properly).

Clearly though, there is at least some question as to the safety of neem oil:

Of course, if this product was regulated in any way (prescribed by a doctor, sold by a pharmacist), then I'd feel happier that it'd be used properly. As it stands though, the product is not offered by an organisation with any medical competence. For example, I don't see anything on the page cleggie linked to that warns against using it on pregnant females.
