  • my partner's using Petpalsdirect.co.uk
i know that they're cheap and do the job. anyone seen their innovative dog insurance [ petpalsdirect.co.uk/dog-insurance.asp ] yet?

    =)
  • Have a Pets at Home store literally just round the corner from my house but seeig as they're doing free delivery at the moment and 5% cashback through Quidco I thought I'd get some money off and get their delivery van to dump a 15kg bag of Wainwrights Dog Food on my doorstep!
  • I have just used chemistdirect.co.uk for some pet stuff. I wanted 4 kongs to fill and freeze and theirs were the cheapest I could find at #3.12 each. I got some other pharmacy stuff which was also cheap.

It is taking longer to deliver than the zooplus stuff.

I took a screenshot of the 10% code but Zooplus are currently denying all knowledge (tho they did send me a £5 voucher code ;))! Zooplus do offer a 10% discount if you click through the Purrsinourhearts website, so I think the 10% coming up is somehow related to cookies. Wierdly I had definitely cleared my cookies when I got the 10% as I was using a cashback site.

I checked my order and I definitely got the 10% off.

I also had an email from them yesterday saying 10% off today only!

i used to use chemistdirect until a few months ago. it was re-order time for the james wellbeloved, cheapest i could find for the cat food, just thought i'd check on here for any discount codes - ^ loads of posts/threads popped up about recent poor service from chemistdirect . needless to say i didn't bother placing an order! (fortunately, PetsAtHome had one of their special offers on at the time so i was able to re-stock, but have had to change from JWB.)

might be worth doing another search on here to see if they've got their act together again. hope you get your order ok :)

    Can I add
    http://www.vitalinpetfood.co.uk/

I buy all my dog food from Vitalin direct and delivered to dorstep...very happy with service and as my dog has always been on their 'vitalin active' working diet, its vat free too !
  • They told me the parcel had been sent out, but i didnt receive a delivery card form the royal mail. I went to the sorting office to see if it was there and they had no record of it. VetUK says there is nothing they can do and as there is no phone number,i cant speak to anyone. I'd be interested if anyone else has this as I am starting to think they are a bunch of con artists.

Welcome to MSE! It's far better to complain in writing by recorded delivery. Quote the distance selling regulations:

No they are not con merchants, I've used them for 10 years. They are usually very responsive and quick to answer query e-mails [polite] and they have always given me good service. Maybe your stuff is stuck in a snow drift! HTH.
