  • Hello,
have just got a new puppy and have been using this thread to see the cheapest way of getting his food (Purina Pro Plan Puppy Complete) and found the cheapest one to be Vet UK at £40.61 for 15kg inc delivery.

However I did a search on Google Shopping and found a site called Bowmeows, i cant seem to write the link in here as I am a new user?

Anyway they do it for £39.99 inc delivery. Also order by 11am and it gets delivered the next day.

Has anyone used them? For the sake of a few pence I think its maybe better to go with Vet Uk as its been recommended here but thought others might want to take a look at bowmeows or might have used them before and have any advice? :)

    thanks!
  • I bought two 15kg bags of Purina Pro Plan for £77 including delivery gjwtitmuss.co.uk:money:
  • Hello and thanks for taking time to read this post.

We would like to ask If you could add us to your sticky list at the beginning of this forum post. Our website is www pandtpetfoods. co.uk

I had to add in spaces to the web address as it wont let me post external links as a new forum user.

We also have a Facebook page called "P and T Petfoods" which will give you a chance to talk to us about how we are doing and what you want from us in the future.

Hope we havent over stepped our bounds in this post, but please let me know if there are any issues.

    Thanks

  • Hi,I have just bought prescription only medication for our cat from vetuk.I was very worried as the original prescriptions had to be sent to them before they would dispense the medication. But, I have just received the meds, exactly what I ordered, very quickly. So will definitely use them in future,as even factoring in the cost of the vet making out the prescriptions, the meds are still cheaper. So, thanks

If you ask your vet for a repeat prescription then VetUK will hold it on file and you can just order again and again until your prescription runs out.

My vet used to give me a prescription for 3 months worth of meds (she need a check up/blood test every 3 months) and then at her next check up I asked for another 3 months worth.

    From the FAQ:

My animal takes long-term medication, do I need to get a new prescription every time?
No, ask your vet to write you a repeat prescription which should cover you normal check up period. You can then buy from this prescription up to the quantity specified or until it expires. You will then require a new prescription.
  • I want to add nicholberrygoldens.com, they are specialized english golden retriever breeder offering puppies for sale.

I feed Arden Grange. A good quality dry food, probably most similar to JWB but I have found it to be considerably cheaper.

I usually buy most my pet stuff at www.pet-supermarket.com as always good delivery times. Although just bought a car tailgate guard from www.CanineCareShop.co.uk, was the cheapest for my car I could find on the webm great quality and good customer service.

We're on Arden Grange too. We buy it from Berriewood Wholesale, about £30 per sack. They stock Arden Grange Premium too, which is Maize free.
