I've decided Melton Constable is where you should live. I like the name :)

Years ago I used to live near enough to Nempnett Thrubwell to see its signposts when driving places. I've always loved the name too. :)

  • I completely missed all these posts from the other day haha, there are so many daft names I see all the time. My sister lives near a village called Willey. My kids think its hilarious!

I have had a very very lazy day (ashamed to say havent even got dressed so the dog hasnt been for a walk yet :o ) But when the kids get back we will all go for a very long walk. I really need to go shops too to get some lunch things for school next week. Have missed the supermarket due to my lazy day so will have to pay corner shop prices. Tomorrow I will go and get foods for next weeks meal plan (so Monday plan for lasagne has been moved to Tuesday :o ) I have £40 left of my grocery budget so think that is quite manageable.

Saw an offer for a stay in an old farmhouse near Norwich. It is £59 for one double room with dinner and breakfast plus £15 per child or £99 for 2 nights. I was very tempted to book it and have a look around Norwich but I already have May wkd booked and a week in Wells in August so I was good and didnt book it but am still very tempted. :o

I am thinking to maybe add it onto the beginning of the week in Wells as I have the week off before as well. But then I am away for a week in Wells so could get loads of looking around done then.

Have spoken to my family regarding my plans

At first I thought you meant Wells in Somerset, and then I wondered how you could look around Norfolk if based down there, and then I realised you must mean Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk. :rotfl:

What sort of response did you get from your family?
