Just realised that I dont need to buy dog food this month so took £30 off my outgoings and took some money out of paypal.
Have OP'd £300 inc standard OP this month. This has taken another month off my end date. I am currently at Nov 16 (2 yrs 9 month) Target is to lose a month every other month. I need to OP another £790! to take another month off so an average £400 normal OPs a month on top of standard. Should be doable.

Hi Nd, I'm not sure I'd be that grateful to have a friend tell me my house smelt  there's not much you can do really except washing all doggie stuff very regularly and not having him or her on the sofa if its fabric, if my dog has been out in the rain and then I have people over I dry her off, open the windows everywhere for half an hour and light a nice smelly candleMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

I love this quote but realise that it's usually other people that stop me in my tracks with it. If I was left on my own, it'd be a lot easier!!

I'm exactly the same TW, I am a bit of a hermit really. If someone says they are visiting I get in a right tizz. (even family) I am not a very sociable person. happy in my own little world if you like. haha.
Newgirly, I just completely forgot about the towels in the hall (mostly because I forgot she was coming oops) I knew that she would tell me straight as that is what she is like. I was a bit offended at first but rather know than her just think it.
My house actually looks like a bomb has hit it this morning. I dont know why these bombs keep getting dropped on my house!MFW 16 No 33

Just jiggling with figures (as we all do
)
My yearly outgoings is a shocking £21,858 inc grocery and petrol and putting into savings.
When my mortgage is paid off and the kids are old enough not to be doing school trips/meals etc my outgoings will be £11,658 (inc giving myself a £100 spare spending money)
My income will be much less as it is now as I wont have maintanence or T/Cs coming in.
Its a bit depressing really as I dont earn that much now (although not far off) working part time so I will have to work more hours, I work 25 at the moment (or keep ebay going)
I read many diaries where they are paying there mortgage off to be able to go part time haha.
I want to save about £12k a year after mortgage free until the kids have finished school (about 5 years) and then after that it will be a struggle unless I go full time.
Life is supposed to get easier isnt it as we go along
Wish I hadnt looked now!MFW 16 No 33

If you find out, please let me know. The same person seems to be dropping them on my house too.norfolkdream wrote: »Just jiggling with figures (as we all do)

IMO putting into savings doesn't count as outgoings, and neither does money that comes off your mortgage capital amount (although mortgage interest does). Try the figures again just with what you've spent, not saved. It'll look much better.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

To be fair I worked out how much I would need to survive so it is everything I need to pay out. if I did not put into savings I would have nothing to pay for repairs, presents etc so needed to include these.
Have been looking at houses and areas and job opportunities over the last few days. My DD would go tomorrow if we could. She's really fed up with her dad at the moment.
I have been reading on other forums about other people that have done it and I must say its mostly positive but a few that havent enjoyed the quiet boring villagy lifestyle. I guess its a lifestyle you have to become accustomed to. I know I will struggle not having a town centre with my usual shops around (Home B, Wilks, QD, B&M etc.. all my barg stores) I suppose you have to travel and stock up with things. Its a way of life you have to get used to doing things differently.
Have OPd another £100 this morning. getting close to my 10% limit (only £958 left) so will then go into savings pot to OP from Sept.MFW 16 No 33
