Hi all,
Checking in with SFD no 5. No exercise yet but decluttering has started.
Mothernerd, sounds like you have had a very interesting life and that your a rock to those around you. No need to travel to have experienced lots, don't let your sons belittle your life knowledge. Though it is fairly common not to think ones own parents are interesting though. You should write down your stories so they can read them for themselvesSorry about your cat.
Iwillsucceed, hope your FIL gets better.
Me I'm 31, mother of two great girls, currently living in a Scandinavian country. Hubby and I left the UK, specifically London, in 2011 after his work had dried up since 2008 with the recession (he was self employed). As it happens he went to a different European country whilst I travelled here. Not the ideal family setup but it's where we were offered jobs so it had to be done. Hoping this will be the year that we are reunited as a family. Debts a mixture of living beyond our means, food & rent & tax & failed business as well as a personal loan I took out in order to be able to move. Moving was the right thing to do and life is looking up despite the odd Zombie battleFinally had my eyes opened and I am ready to tackle my debts!

I've just got in from work, feel pretty shattered but a bit bad to those who are working till 6am cos I was shattered by 2am! Still I've since found out how much we will get paid for it and I am a very happy bunny rabbit indeed.
Tomorrow will be a definite SFD as it's onesie sunday and I am NOT leaving the house for anyone!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

Hi everyone hope your all having a nice weekend! Didn't get a SFD yest as needed some fruit and things so went to lidl spent £34.65
Lots of decluttering done here, 10 bags to the dump and some more stuff to stick on ebay, will do that this evening. Should be a SFD today, may go out for a walk with the family but won't bring my purse. Have a nice Sunday all xxNSK April power shower #370 -
Did the food shop yesterday as planned, spent more of my budget than I had hoped by this stage but am hoping future shops should only be small (milk, veg, yoga etc). I wrote my list and then checked the Asda prices for everything on it so I could pick up anything lidl had cheaper there first. Lucky to have them both within easy walking distance.
Hubby is out getting a free haircut while I am helping with homework, prepping the roast and catching up on here. Hoping to pop out for a run when hubby gets home before we take the boys swimming. Haven't got out running as much this week as normal as my cold has zapped all of my energy but feel so much better when I am running regularly.
Not doing great on the decluttering either must increase my efforts on this next week.Debt as at January 2014 £13,546.84Current £11,485.15 - 15.42% paid - moving in the right directionDebt free date [STRIKE]Jan 2016 Dec 2015[/STRIKE] Nov 2015MMH 35 - SFD 8/15 FB 266.46/240 T-O 0/0 donation 3/£3 LTW 8/10 exercise 12/12 neighbour favour? Hi all
Spend day yesterday with a top up shop. No exercise or de-cluttering as I'm feeling a bit under the weather and have been sleeping quite a lot this weekend. Calling a SFD today as i will not be venturing out.

Afternoon all - SFD here - and yesterday. DH managed to install new 8ft fence posts yesterday despite it blowing a hooley and several layers of concrete from the old posts to remove - friends coming in a mo to lift the new panels into place with us and then hopefully we will have a dog proof garden once more!
Kids both gone for a nap - two melt downs in dinner meant they had cooked the goose so to speak!!
Anyways on we go -

Quick Sunday afternoon check in! I've been useless at keeping up with the thread this week - every night I've managed to read the posts from the day before but have been going to bed really early before I ever really catch up! I've done well with some parts of the challenge so far: budget is holding up OK but still 3 weeks to go til pay day! Lunches to work and grocery shopping is all on track but I've wimped out at walking to work as the weather has been so poor, but will think about doing something else this week to make up for it
Have listed a couple of computer games on ebay this weekend - I have a target of an extra £150 to make/strip from the budget somewhere this month so I can clear my overdraft before I get paid but it's not looking too hopeful at this point so could do with cracking on with that a bit more this afternoon

The rugby is on, I've already done a workout, dd is playing happily on the bed as I watch tv, so I've time to catch up here then do a little more knitting. Perfect!
And I've got a purple cabbage to make this week's soup - a purple one again - once the rugby finishes. Exciting times in our household :j.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
