Decided to come on to surprise the zombies... Got to keep them guessing.
So, I have 3 spend-free days at present. Hoping for a fourth today as I plan to sleep for nearly all of it (nightshifts).
My life story is simple: I am 29 years old, live in an end-terraced house with my dear boyfriend in the north of Scotland. We have no kids, no pets and no worries. (That was a joke by the way).
My financial story is quite funny... I bought my first house at 17 (prices are a lot lower up here) and budgeted perfectly. And then I went to uni and it all fell apart. But I am learning!!Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91
Savings: £0/£64000 -
Hello and good morning!
Well I join in too then. 35 year old German immigrant of 11 years, live in one of the bigger cities in Scotland with my fiance and DS, expecting DD soon. Live in a quiet cul-de-sac in a detached chalet (that's what it said on the survey, lol, actually it's a two story bungalow). Oh and we've got a cat too.
Today will be SFD 3. Thought it was yesterday but I had three SD (Sat-fuel, Mo-SM, and Tues-bus pass).DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
I tried to break a rule this morning as I was really craving an egg and tomato breakfast sandwich from Pret. I got there and they didn’t have any! The spending zombies are conspiring against me!0

Lovely idea to get a bit of background:
I'm 31, living in Oxford, currently at DM & DF house while I renovate my new flat, with BF who lives in London.littleskintdragon wrote: »I'm 30 this year 2 :-/, live in South Wales, in a detached 4 bed house with my dh, dd & baby ds. We also have a naughty dog and 2 naughty cats. We live in a small town, allthough one day i would love to live somewhere rural where no one can see me! I need to be df to afford this!
Oh, where in South Wales, if you don't mind me asking?! Both parents grew up there; aunties, uncles and cousins all round Gwent and Monmouthshire. Sadly no grandparents there now, so don't visit so much any more, and I miss it. And we always do family holiday's in Pembrokeshire, since I was a baby!
In general challenge news: I'm up to 3 SFDs, and today will be a spendy day. I've a work social thing (pre-planned) and so I'm going to get some necessary bits to get from boots on the way into town.Total debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

This is pretty amazing news but I suggest you open a new bank account for the £100 reward. This is what I did in order to get £91 to clear a loan before the end of May last year - it was a great feeling to be handed £100 for nothing!..; - )“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. I work full time in a profession that is rather embarrassing, given my current predicament!

MORNING!!!
I am finding it really hard to stay awake at work this morning! But it is GREAT to hear where everybody is. What a lovely way to get to know everyone but MrsGSR you win hands down for the ambiguous "in a small hamlet outside a large town" - it's like she can't tell us who she is or we will all have to DIE! :rotfl:
I am a single 30 year old female (in case you hadn't guessed) living in a rental property with a moggy in Zone 7 in the !!!! end of no-where with an epic commute to work and a penchant for monster munch crisps for breakfast although after my porridge. And I am a not-so-secret prepper.
Stewby I am sorry to be so open here but I have to ask are you a boy or a girl - it's driving me mad. I don't know why I want to know but nothing gives you away and I am curious - don't worry if you don't want to say. I am just being a super nosey mare...:p
I am being registered on a Money Mentoring course by my local Credit Union. I might have mentioned this a while ago as I met a girl who worked there (in my home town) during the town fair (she was on her stall, I was with my church stall) and we got chatting about debt-busting. Clearly I was a little enthusicastic and she went on to offer me this course last year after finding me on MSE. Two days, one week apart and I am taught to mentor someone on a one-to-one basis regarding debt.
Not sure where it might lead to but it's a start towards being a kinda debt manager which is what I am aiming for. What would be even better is creating a website, running "NSK goes native" online from a beach in Thailand and watching you all as you get debt free. Don't think I could cope not talking to you all at least once a day! (Saddo - but your all so important to me and I want to see you get debt free)....:(:(:(
Anyway.. I am off to research web design! :T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
