chickadee you have got me thinking about about how different we all are and yet we all share this same challenge. I am rather curious about everyone and just how different/similar we are, so I thought I'd share a few basic details and maybe some of you might like to as well?

I'm nearly 30, live in Derbyshire, in a semi-detached house in a large village, with my OH, 4 dogs and a cat.

  • Evening all. Managed to bag my second SFD, why is the temptation to pop out and buy things so strong??

Had a friend for dinner (part of today's batch cook) and she brought a lovely chocolate cheesecake for pudding (still half in the fridge) and some chocolate treats for the boys.

Batch cook means my freezer is looking even more well stocked, I do need some bread flour and a fewalad type bits which I may get tomorrow when I am passing the shops.

Was meant to go for a run today but the wind and rain were both stronger than my motivation  won't have time tomorrow so will have to fit in one on Friday lunchtime and another at the weekend.

  • I'm another that missed breakfast and paid for it - overslept so ended up buying a bacon roll. Today was a designated spendy day so I didn't feel too guilty though, and have had a wander through town this afternoon and only bought one thing (and returned another, so not adding to my clutter!).

Paid rent so that's nearly half this month's money gone, but having SFDs marked in the diary is helping the hopeful feeling that I might make it to March with some left over.

    Morning everyone!

I have a lazy day no.2 due to the tube strike! Well done clippygirl on the unexpected windfall! Well I expect a NSD today. Last night I restarted the 30 day shred and loved the feeling of energy afterwards, so I will keep going with this!

I hope i'm not the golden oldie of this thread, you all seem so young, lol. Well I'm a 40 year old single parent to a son in his 20's, two teens and a 5 year old. I absolutely love travelling (yes Kat, I do hear you smirking, lol) I work full time in a profession that is rather embarrassing, given my current predicament! We live in a 3 bed townhouse in London.

  • Show and tell :) I am 36 live in a terraced thatched cottage in a little village in deepest Devon. Our household consists of DH, Me, Dd 6, Ds 4, a retriever and a very old cat who has to keep taking his tablets!

House is still up for sale after last years antics - the one we were buying was sold to someone else in mid January. For those that weren't around last October/November - our buyers pulled out due to splitting up :( Still on we go!!

Anyway SFD planned today - waiting for fence to be delivered and then off to ds assembly and dd brownies.

These days now the squiglets are in school I try to work about 6 hours per week day. Hoping to be able to rack up enough hours that half term can be work free - we will see.

Anyway off to blitz house for half and hour before paid work begins - Love LAGL xx
