  • Workout number 2 of the month done this morning! Today would be a NSD had I remembered to renew library books last night, so off to pay my 40p fine. Not going to see this as an excuse to have a spendy day though!

My news is that I'm pleased with how this month has started and I'm definitely not going to let it slip.

First SFD of the month cracked. Worked at home as the dreaded cold has made yet another final curtain call…

Living a good life – I just read that article too before I came on here, but I didn't see the programme (don’t watch telly). Not a surprise I have to say, but thank goodness for Jack doing what she does. Hope your hand is ok!

Not much else to report here.. just about to tuck into our tomato sardine pasta. Yum.

NSK I have eaten mung bean curry and rice for 3 days. Your smoked chilli black bean thing sounds right up my street :) Would you point me in the direction of the recipe please?

Sfd for me today number 2 yeh. Also LTW number 2.

Not much else happening although I have done lots of paperwork tonight so some decluttering done there. Really need to sort out ds2 toybox as he has outgrown a few of his toys and need to make way for some of the new stuff he got for Xmas.

Not a huge amount to report. Dd was off sch and poorly, so that put paid to getting the shopping done, or getting to the chemist to collect her latest prescription. I'm v grateful for 6+ ca1po1!

Got dh to buy some essentials on his way home, then nabbed the car to go to a parents/options evening. But - let's get priorities right here - I stopped to go to the chemist first! Theyhad most of her presc, but no bread, so I nipped into the c00p to get one. So I was a little late to work, but no one really noticed! On the way home I realised that I was now the proud owner of a £1 off a £5 spend in the c00p. It's not a place I usually frequent, but figured it was worth a go to see if there were any yellow stickers. Disappointing!! I did spend £4.84 with the voucher taken off, all on reduced items, so I got a result! Much of it was for dh so that he doesn't pay full price for the sort of food he's not allowed to eat at home: porkpies, pastries...

With hindsight, I could've not got the bread and bagged an NSD. However, getting dh to shop for me and not counting it does seem like bending the rules just a tad too far!

Poor dd is coughing and has a super drippy nose. Poor mite! Must go and sit with her soon...

    Hi All Zombie Slayers,

Just a quick update tonight. Not much to report except SFD and LTW so on target. Also now on 3 of 28 declutter. Managed to completely clear down my email account. Decided to have a oending folder that I can put anything that I think I want to look at and if its still there 7 days later it gets deleted.

    Night all see you tomorrow
