Yay - possibly a little over excited to be declaring my first NSD. I have definitely gone more than one day in the past without spending money but this feels different as it is part of the plan for helping us to become DF.

Feeling a little under the weather this evening, hoping it is partly just tierdness. Would be very easy to just curl up in bed but determined to get lunches all packed up and check the dive is free for me to pak in tomorrow. Hoping I shouldn't need to spend any money tomorrow or Wednesday or actually Thursday or Friday either :T

Abundant1972, wow, what a realisation, and as our hoped for DFD is the same as yours, then that applies to us too. Exciting!

Spendy day here sadly as I had to get some bits that the supermarket didn’t have yesterday. No exercise either as very tiring day at work and I tend to give myself Mondays off from exercise. The gym is always so busy on a Monday and I hate it when it's busy, misanthrope that I am!

Feeling the support and encouragement of the Feb-slayers and “As Mr. Sloane always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about.” …. Ahh, Sean of the Dead…

Don’t worry, there won’t be a zombie film quote EVERY night! :D

oh my goodness me, only just found this next challenge, Im a couple of days late!! Still very keen to join, last month helped me so much!! I was number 82 last month, would like to stick with that again please. Need to go and read the first 13 pages now, and set up my envelopes and sort my budget. Will be back soon with my plans :D

(just realised the number is not important, just stick me on the end of the list! Thought we kept the same number throughout the months of the challenge)

    Hi All,

Booking in for my daily update on day 3 so at least I have reached one of my targets :j

SFD 1/15 - needed some washing powder as OH forgot to tell me we were out. He's self employed and not working at the moment so has been doing the washing. I suppose it's worth a spend day if he does the washing, he also does the ironing as I hate it. Don't worry there are lots of things he doesn't like doing that I do so it's a fair split :rotfl:
Food £101.69/£130 - looks like I've spent a lot but only need milk and maybe some veg for the rest of the month.
    Fuel £0/£100
Declutter 2/28 - feel a bit tired tonight so maybe just a bath and an early night. Maybe I could declutter my email account in bed after my bath, if not I have another 25 days to make up the shortfall :rotfl:
LTW 1/20 - determined to hit this one. A work colleague is going for this as well so that should help motivate me.

Not too bad a start to the month but need to keep on track or the zombies may take over.

    See you all tomorrow

    Chez x

    Good evening zombie slayers.
    :)

Today was a spendy day but I have a very good reason... I had to get some ID pictures (a fiver) and completed my passport renewal forms.
OH has booked a trip away to Barcelona in April and that is the month my passport runs out.

I used my credit card for the passport as I didn't have the sort of money available for it (£81!!). However, it was very much worth it. I am hoping something round and shiny will be joining us on holiday.
    ;)

Did do some shopping as well (spare £100 is pretty much gone). However I bought my dad a bottle of whisky for his bday and my nephew some clothes for his bday too (bdays are both in February so would have had to spend it this month anyways).
    :undecided

Hope everyone else is doing well... Plan for tomorrow is to slow cook some chicken in bbq sauce (4 breasts = 4 meals). I am also going to make some tattie soup. Yum yum.
    :D

Have fought off the zombies for another day but only just. Going to have to work at it for the rest of the week. (just hope the zombies don't catch me whilst I sleep during the day). At least the house will look empty so they may just wander past.

  • SFD number 1 in the bag - totals updated - spent a quiet day sorting stuff out - back to work tomorrow to get as many hours banked as possible before February half term :) Planning a trip to sister in laws and to the fleet air arm museum with some friends - free courtesy of Mr Tesc0's.

Did manage to glass my own hand today - a vase bit the dust in the process - a fairly painful way to declutter!!

Next stop - sofa, cup of tea and book

    Love Lagl xx
