    GWS vibes Crowdpleaser.

Kazw you have a pm re dates.

I've managed to thoroughly clean my desk and the unit housing the tv, dvd player, stereo, vcr, Sky box and PS2 (well ok I can't pull stuff out from the wall, but have done all I can otherwise).

I've also white vinegar-ed the shower screen, which was in a bit of a sorry state; all sparkling now, though. It's a concertina jobbie with 5 acrylic panes, so fairly fiddly to do.

Going to sign off now and get my Brain Training done, before it's time to put tonight's pizza (HM of course ;)) in the oven.

DD3 has asked if she has to go to KH's or if she can stay at home... I wonder if the issue is not here or school but at his.. this rings massive alarm bells given Moomin wet herself at his last weekend!!!!!!

I would be hearing very loud alarm bells too, pigpen. Do they have to go - any of them? I would be inclined to keep them all at home until you find out what's upsetting them.

Hope you can get to the bottom of what's going on Pigpen - sounds like you need to sit down and have a talk with her and see what's happened/been happening. Will she open up to you or does she keep it all to herself?

FizzWhizz good the GPs are going to be keeping an eye on you; hopefully the drugs will kick in soon. I know what you mean about prescription charges; I have a pre payment cert which works out cheaper for me as I have to pay for my Warfarin, anti ds, iron etc ... I won't bore you with them all! Make sure you take care of yourself.

Joeyjimbles as you say there's always next week. I've done diddly squat today flying wise (apart from washing up from 2 days ago :o) but it's OK.

Dancemum sorry to hear about DS2 but good appointment has been brought forward.

Crowdpleaser let's hope blood tests show what's going on - even a low level virus can really make you feel carp so it could be something like that if not one of the other things you mention.

Done my ironing, had dinner now need to wash up pans then get DD sorted for Scouts tonight. Oh, had good news as got my first CBT appointment on Wednesday - feeling really positive about it :T

talk to her and ask her to either tell you if something bothering her there or if she doesnt want to talk she can write down her reasons for not wanting to go. go with your gut feeling, something is definitely not sitting right

None of them have to go if they don't want to.. Moomin and Tiddles want to go so have gone. He demanded why Mimi wasn't going and I just said she asked if she could stay here and I asked if he had upset her and she said no and went upstairs.

She won't talk to anyone.. she is incredibly frustrating..

I *think* Moomin has an issue with his bathroom.. it is dark and mouldy and a bit creepy once it is dark outside.. but I don't know for sure..

Mimi is at the age where he loses interest .. you know when they start asking why and saying no rather than blindly doing as they are commanded. She may simply be hormonal.

Happy birthday to Valli's DD. 18! Reminds me of taking my 22 year old DD to New York on her 18th. Time goes so fast!
Might need to pick your brains, me and DS are saving to go to NY in December 2015 :xmastree:
Any advice on who to fly with and where to stay would be good.

He was a bit funny yesterday when I asked him to bring my c.s.a with him. Conveniently he has no money and I was told "you should have asked earlier". It's the end of the month, he should remember it's due! He manages to pay his son's mother each week! But then she'd stop him seeing the boy if he didn't. I don't need to stop him seeing DD2 as he's not bothered about seeing her at the best of times
    Sorry rant over :o

Could you do your CSA actually through the CSA? When I split with OH I just knew I would have every excuse every month and quibbling about the amount! He was pi***d off that I had gone down an "official" route because he knew he would have the money taken by direct debit, no holding me to ransom! Just a thought!

Outnumbered on the iPlayer - I love that programme!

    Me too :)

I have just done a couple of loads in the WM and hung them on my heated dryer! (Thanks again Yorkshire Lass for the tip!)

    Cleaned up DS bedroom
    Emptied bins

No snow here :( just horrible grey skies and rain!

I am going to knit some mini hats this weekend to sit on top of creme eggs for little Easter pressies. I just need some cheap egg cups. Dun£lm M!ll had some lovely wool, I might look for egg cups there too.

Off to catch up with Call the Midwife. Enjoy your Thursday evening everyone.

  • Oh dear I am joining the ranks of the poorlies. Had the most horrible headache at work this afternoon and was really embarrassed because I had to run to the loo to be sick! Feeling better than I was but still a bit wobbly.

Just a headache I think though, fingers crossed all will be well again tomorrow. No flying today but I feel too rubbish to care. I am curled up on the sofa under a blanket with my doggie watching the telly and will stay here for a couple of hours then off to bed.

Virtual hot toddies and blankies for all the poorlies! :(

I've been through quite a few toy buckets today. I'm not asking DD although to be fair its DS who has loads of stuff. He's being quite good at deciding which are baby toys. I have a bag of stuff that might sell, a small bag of broken bits for the bin, and a medium bag of stuff that can be donated. Mum may want to sift through first.

DD really only has books p, craft stuff, dressing up stuff and her various dolls (baby and Barbie) all of which she plays with. There are some games and jigsaws they are growing out of though.
