Ditto. Frog attack required, but I think the break has given me a new idea of how to solve the problem :)

DH likes the half-sin cake (well, he only had a quarter-sin as I shared it with him). Without flour, it does taste quite different from a normal sponge, but it makes a good enough base for a fruit topping.

    (Later)
My big frog is still croaking at me, because a discussion with DH about his garden railway has thrown up a bit of a problem. I must now ring the electrician (who is coming on Monday to put extra sockets in the garage).

Just got online today.. ty Mumof2.. I'm fine ty.. drugged but fine.

DD3 tried running away this morning.. my spideysense detected her in the park and she is getting a roasting when she gets in from school.. She took offence when I bellowed at her and confiscated her tablet after she slammed Moomins head in the bedroom door!!! I'm so horrible to not let her abuse her sister in such a manner I know!

    Girls at KH's tonight

OH's parents and sister were here earlier.. the least said and all that shizzle! ;)

I've been eating my paperwork & frogs today. Friend popped around for a cuppa but brought her paperwork frogs with her, so we ate them together.

    Dailies done

DS2 is having a meltdown again

Paediatrician appointment brought forward due to emergency request so instead of August it is now in April!

    Soup now blitzed and cooling

I WILL plan MK meet, but later on when the weather is warmer, on a weekend, location in MK TBA, LW's suggestions seem good. (I'll look at June / July time, not the weekend 4 - 6 July as the area will be very busy, and anyone who wishes to travel on the M1 will be there for hours) This is open to anyone not just folk in / near MK.

    Washing all folded

Pigpen~ your kids don't half give you the run around some times xx

thanks Mumof2, I know really, but I was doing so well at the beginning of the week. Seem to have almost caught up tho I'm aware that there are 3 bedrooms and the snug that I've barely dealt with more than the surface, to say nothing of the top floor of the house which has had no more than a hoover through.

Ah well, there's always next week.

Hope those who are going, have a a lovely time at the Flymeet x:T

DD3 has asked if she has to go to KH's or if she can stay at home... I wonder if the issue is not here or school but at his.. this rings massive alarm bells given Moomin wet herself at his last weekend!!!!!!

I have antibiotics :) and a temperature of 39 degrees which I didn't even know about :o I need to ring them on Monday afternoon to see if the cultures have grown and if so, whether the broad spectrum ABx she gave me are the right ones to kill the bugs.

I winced when I paid for my prescriptions, having lived in Wales for years and getting free meds, it's still a shock to the system.

Off for a hot shower before DH gets home, he'll be early as he has been to the docs today too. The House of Whizz are keeping the NHS busy ;)
