Where about are you in the country? Iona I know is way way up norrrrrrrth!:D so no chance if you are there. xx

West Midlands - a bit too far for you to come for just a coffee, I suspect. But I do travel down the Chiltern Line occasionally, and one day I could stop off in Banbury if that's your side of the M1. Or even chance a Virgin train and take a break in concrete cow country so that we can do a threesome meet with LW if she'd care to join us. (Foursome if Dusty comes too :))

DH has just come home and is demanding food. Bacon and eggs, if I've got any left after making those cakes :D

Sorry - I just have to ask - where is concrete cow country?!

These are within dog-walking distance of us!:D When the field's not flooded, that is.:rotfl:

Kazw In principle, (ie as long as I don't panic and bottle out), good idea, when the weather's better. Peace Pagoda's lovely, but not easy to get the wheelchair up to; there's also the Medicine Wheel nearby, which is more on a level; and the Ship Ashore pub is wheelchair-friendly. Have to be a weekend, as Mr LW would have to assist me.

Now, I shall attack another family of dust bunnies, while the netbook defrags.:o Nothing like multi-tasking, is there?:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Definitely, MK is about 45 minutes drive north of me but happy to meet wherever is easiest especially for LW x

Let's do it when the weather is better - that place sounds lovely but I will go anywhere and can make most days with a little notice.

Remember I'm in charge this week and the queen of going OT and flying very little :D:o:p

DH on the train home so need to get him soon. Going to stuff the chook in the AGA for a pie for dinner, I think all will be home tonight which is a very rare occasion here :(

Flying? Ah I will later I'm sure.

  • Still had 15 minutes left of second double HHC so will make the corned beef hash ready to be heated through for tea.

Update means all that's left is:
    [STRIKE]Mop Kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    Change beds - weekend
[STRIKE]15 minutes dealing with hotspots/putting things away[/STRIKE] - ironing finished and PA
[STRIKE]Hoover anywhere in need - hoover needs charging!!!![/STRIKE] rest of downstairs and smallest bedroom ( only middle bits!)
How are you doing with the pile of stuff left to sort? Remove at least 3 more things from this pile and deal with them. Bless you Dusty - if I do three pieces of paper a day for the rest of my life I still won't get there :o paper is so thin nowadays!!!!:rotfl:
I aim to do at least an hour munching "les grenouilles" later on - but AIM is the word!!
    [STRIKE]And 4 - was 5 - can't count! shirts left[/STRIKE]
Will report back on that tomorrow.

Hope others have had a much better day today, too. xxx

    ASfternoon all

    tis my planning afternoon

DD is also on a half day so we walked into jacket spuds as I had put the oven on timer. JUST what we needed, given it's -erm- snowing! So they've been scoffed with cheese.

I might intersperse planning with flying;)

Just got in from a lovely walk with Pip; put my headphones on and sang all the way around (apart from when I passed anyone obviously) and let rip down the fields!!! Did me the power of good.

Haven't flown yet but am thinking I may iron and put Outnumbered on the iPlayer - I love that programme! Just made a brew so if anyone wants one feel free to help themselves. :coffee: Maybe those of you who've been baking could bring some cake!!

Joeyjimbles don't worry about making excuses; that's the beauty of this (as I see it) in that you can do as much or as little as you want - there's no pressure on anyone.

Pigpen are you OK; haven't seen you on here today.

Everyone seems very organised with SC and preparing food in advance but I just don't seem to be able to get my head around it at the moment - something I'll have to aim for I think.

    Right, tea's up .....
