Sounds like a lovely day cheery.

We've spent the afternoon in the garden. The greenhouse is starting to come on nicely again now.

Hope man stops drilling enough for a snooze x

I slept for over 2 hours in the end :o:o Must have needed it! :rotfl:

Up early this morning and down the parkrun - not quite a PB but not far off! :j :j One day I'll make it under half an hour :rotfl:

Then pottered to the shops so a little tiny bit spendy... :o

    £8 dress and black jumper
£4 cereal bars/yogurt (hmm, that should really come out of food budget...)
£2.50 birthday card that I bought yesterday and forgot about :o
£10 to go in birthday card
£4 chocolate to go with birthday stuff and to take to mum's tomorrow

Think that's it. Resisted the urge to buy a newspaper - not had one for ages anyway and I've got a library book that hasn't been read yet so I put the newspaper back on the shelf :j

Going to go swimming in a bit so that'll be £3, but that should be it for today, and I'm off to mum's tomorrow - diesel already in the car, contribution to lunch already bought, present for friend and baby already dealt with :j so aiming for another NSD tomorrow :j :j

    Thanks :)

Just been doing some checking of bank accounts and budgeting etc - now the sun's shining and if I'm going to go swimming I'd best get a move on, it shuts at 5!

Well to my great surprise i almkst enjoyed swimming yesterday!! :rotfl:

We appear to have eaten the white chocolate mini eggs i bought to take to my mum's :o:o normally i'd hop out and replace them, but i so much wanted a NSD today so we'll have to manage without :rotfl: that's what this NSD business is all about
    after all, i suppose!!

unfortunately i told both mum and sister that i was bringing them... :o :rotfl: but there weren't very many and there's plenty of other stuff and i've still got a bag of mini daim bar egg things so it's not all bad!!

(still feel slightly guilty mind you :o )

but this will only be NSD number 3 - got to get the numbers up somehow!! not sure i'll make 10 but more than 3 has got to be doable...

    :D

right, signature updated to add on £34 for the last couple of days  up to £135 spent now. It's certainly making me more mindful keeping track :)

    going to wear my new £4 dress today :D :j :j :j

should be nothing to add for today, not sure of plans for tomorrow...

then 3 days of fieldwork/work travel and i'm getting pretty good at not spending on those (barring the occasional cup of tea on the way home when there's no facilities to make one).

Next friday i'm meeting a pal so that'll be lunch and perhaps a couple more items of charity shop clothing...

not sure about saturday but sunday is my birthday :D so i anticipate being bought many treats (or at least a cup of tea :rotfl: ). Might see about going for a bike ride :j

maybe i'll actually make it to the end of the month within budget?! :rotfl:

NSD number 3 over and done with successfully! :j :j :j

had a lovely easter egg hunt and visit with family and now curled up under a blanket on the sofa :j

think i'll have an at home day tomorrow :) Might sneak out for a run/bike ride in the morning but otherwise potter in the garden i think and do a bit more decluttering :)

slimming world in the evening but i'll probably just buy a raffle ticket. Although since i won last week i can't imagine i'll win again so maybe i'll aim for another NSD instead... :money:

Well unsurprisingly I didn't manage another NSD :rotfl:

Remembered I'd seen bags of peat free compost in Aldi for £1.99 and i'd completely run out and needed to get new seeds in... got there and they only had four bags left!  so i bought all of them :o :rotfl: and a trug for four quid.

    so £12 for yesterday...

Planned a NSD today but went past my lovely local big issue seller looking very sodden in the rain... so £2 spent (and a load of cheese and wine on expenses... :rotfl: :rotfl: ).

Seriously thinking i'll start LSDs (Low Spend Days :D) next month :D:D (might need a different name :rotfl: ) I really struggle with NSDs and when i buy one thing i tend to feel quite demoralised. But i reckon i could manage 5 NSDs and another 10 of under £2 and that's still only £25 for half the month...

Or am i just deluding myself?! :rotfl:

Anyway, got picnic and a flask of tea, and this afternoon we're running a cheese and wine do in a care home (!) so i certainly won't need extra food on the way home!!
