Phew! That's a relief - I'm glad to hear of another cuppa on here, all of that sounded like an awful lot of work - your muscles will miss it, Cheery :) to be sure :)

Thanks KC :) speaking of muscles, i've just worked out my gym visits are down to £6.36 a trip :D not bad considering I've only had one month where I've been more than three times (april), and I didn't go at all in May! :o  if I looked at it like that I'd feel I'd failed and it was a waste of money, but instead dividing cost by number of trips just makes me want to go more :j

Well, somehow I didn't manage to get to the gym today after that :o :rotfl: I did make it to slimming world though (where I learned I'd put on 3lbs in the last fortnight  ) and then I didn't have time for tea before I went to my other meeting, so I landed up with a couple of scones from the corner shop :o which will probably explain the 3lbs :o :rotfl:

    Oh well.

Very much feeling in need of getting a hold of my life right now. I've put off SO many things to do this decorating, and yet it doesn't seem to be going very fast at all :o I feel like my head is full up, and that makes me unable to do things physically sometimes :o

However, I'm not doing *nothing* Today, for example...

6.30 woke up, messed about on internet in bed (hmm)
    8.15 got up, dressed, breakfasted
9.00 walked to hospital with Mr Cheery (nothing to worry about)
10.00 sneaked off for a cuppa after hospital
10.45 got to work, set up computer, answered phone, remembered the meeting at 11am that I'd actually got back to work in time for :rotfl:
    11.00 meeting
    12.00 lunch and (work-related) reading
    1.00 workity work work work
    4.45 walked home
5.15 small chat with Mr Cheery, got changed
    5.30 chemist, then Slimming World
    6.45 drove to other meeting
    9.00 supermarket for wholesome food
9.45 home, unpacked food, hung washing up, put old washing away, changed sheets, made lunch for tomorrow
    10.30 internet again

So, no decorating, and I didn't even manage a full blithering day at work! :o:o

Currently feeling like eating, exercise, organisation, housework etc are ALL out of control

    Urgh.

I'll get over myself. Made a start today with wholesome food buying, and I've made some lunch to take with me tomorrow to my training course so I don't land up popping out to spend £4 on a sandwich like I did today :o

I've also changed the sheets (which I'm ashamed to say haven't been done for weeks and were doing even my head in), and done some washing, so that's a start :o

I'm off work again next week so I'm hoping to get my act together a tiny bit!

Sorry, just moaning and tired - off to do YNAB and then have a snooze, got to be in town for 9am tomorrow. Hope you're all more cheerful and organised than me! :D

Urgh, YNAB done and the state of my purse full of receipts reflects my disorganised head :o However, it turned out that despite originally thinking I'd lost £20  I remembered what I'd spent it on (pizza and gin :o :rotfl: ) and ended up with a £1.65 gain :rotfl: :money:

Definitely time for a snooze now :o
  • I'm holding off until the grand hounds are back with DD2 this weekend. They have been here 5 weeks and I've changed the bed once. my DH thinks they should sleep with us. We already have an old silky terrier up there. Everything is getting washed Friday before we leave.

Don't blame you Mila! Fortunately we don't have pets else we'd be in a dire state!

Diligently made lunch last night and packed a bag full of healthy food for training course today...

... and left the bloody thing in the kitchen  will have to go to the mini supermarket now, and I'm trying SO hard to stick to slimming world today (for once) so cant even just grab any old cheese butty!

    Idiot :rotfl:

Oh well, I suppose that"s tomorrow's lunch already made! :rotfl:

It's rough trying to fit everything in, there's no two ways about it. My sheet and duvet cover, for example, may have been on my bed for some considerable time .... :o:D

Glad it's not just me KC :D :rotfl: :rotfl: I confess it was *lovely* to get into a clean bed last night :o:o :rotfl:

Well, I ended up spending £7 on lunch  which is what comes from restricting your diet and leaving your freshly prepared lunch at home  Ate it for tea instead though which saved me cooking :rotfl:

And now I've been painting! It's not actually much fun as I'm tired and keep having to move dust sheets and ladders and things that are in the way. In fact, I'm bored of it now :o but there's still paint in the roller tray and I promised myself I'd keep going til it was done. But it's watered down paint as it's the first coat on the plaster, and I'm putting it on with a paint pad, and it's lasting forever! :rotfl:

Done the whole bathroom (as planned) and now I'm on the third wall of the stairs/landing just trying to get rid of the paint! :rotfl:

If it's not done by the end of this wall it's going down the sink - I can't be bothered moving any more stuff! :o :rotfl:

Wow Cheery you have been busy. You are amazing the way you have done most things yourself. Things will calm down for you and things will get back to being less disorganised and chaotic. It'll all be worth it in the end.

So where did you end up and was any paint squandered? :D :rotfl:
