Hope you are on your way now and that the exhaust stays on for you  :rotfl:
Haha Cheery alas no. It takes 8 hours from here which is a long way for the kiddies so we stop just this side of the border and stay overnight. It's a more manageable journey that way.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Fingers crossed for exhausts and food arrival and erm people arrival safely.
Take your time lass, there's always gardening to be done.
xx
We did Manchester in 6 and a bit hours when we did it - although we did divert for a weekend on the wayTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:

Have a wonderful fun time!
We just got back from a few days away and it was fantastic. GD turned a biggirl two yrs old and had such a good time at her party. She loves to play dress up so a runway was made and costumes provided for all to strut their stuff. My husband and I were paparazzi!:D
She had helped my dau make her birthday cupcakes. You could tell which ones were hers by the blueberries that were pushed down into the cake. No one seemed to mind.:rotfl:Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Evening chums :hello:
Lovely, lovely time away with young Pippi and her household of loveliness :j :j We seem to have consumed plenty of cheese, and only a little cake (in fact, I'm not even sure there was *any* cake involved! A piece of shortbreadand I didn't feel deprived by my cake-less state one bit
)
All inspired to do some gardening now. Pity that pesky work-thing is going to get in the way for a few days :rotfl: Although I suppose it's light til nearly 10pm now so no excuses!
For now though, I'm full of pizza and tea and all cheerfulNeed to do YNAB fiddling but not sure that's going to happen tonight :rotfl:

Oops. Just had email from estate agent who valued house back in January, asking if we're ever going to move
:rotfl: Well, they didn't put it *quite* like that
:rotfl: But they said 'we have something coming up that may interest you' - I told them to feel free to send details but we clearly won't be ready for several months and I wouldn't want anyone to have to wait for us :rotfl:
On the plus side - I bought a plaster mixer on my holidays£4.99 well spent I think
I've been mixing by hand but this attaches to the end of a drill and will save, ooh, at least 5 minutes every time I mix some plaster (5 minutes I'll probably spend looking for the drill to attach to the plaster mixer...) :rotfl:
It's bright red and shiny though(for now...) :rotfl:

oooooo cheeeeese! Yum!!! Glad to hear you had a lovely time in stripeyland!
[we seem to have an abundance of danish blue in the freezer - I forsee some sort of quiche-like thing in our future...]4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! (24 OCT 2016)(With heartfelt thanks to those who have gone before us & their indubitable generosity.)...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)Psst...I may have started a diary!0 -
we've got loads of danish blue too, but I get a bit sick of it after a while and we've got about 4 lots left (would have taken some with me if I'd remembered! :rotfl: )
Done YNAB :j All settled and correct :j Payday on Friday, I *think* I may be due an increment... (but that might be wishful thinking as June was when I got an increment in my last joband I have only been there five months after all :rotfl: ) Also will be missing a couple of days from the strike. Will also need to allow for Scandinavian expenses! Work is paying for big stuff (flights, trains, hotels) in advance but food etc and local travel will need to be paid and claimed back.

That's exactly how I am with Danish Blue - absolutely love it, but when I've had enough, thats **it**
Hope you get the increment2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well we'll see - can't even remember where I read it was due in June so I might well have made it up
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Replied to email from estate agents saying they could tell us about the 'new house' if they wanted, but we wouldn't be ready to go for at least another few months and didn't want to keep anyone waiting... :rotfl: Also had phone call from mortgage woman at the bank - gah! All these people checking up on me! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Checked ebay - returned item has been received by seller so should get a refund by tomorrow :j :j All very straightforward :j0 -
They obviously all mark their diaries to get in touch with customers if they haven't heard off them for a certain amount of time :rotfl:
Hope you do get your increment xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
