Well get out there young lady, don't be following my can't-be-arsed training plan!! :rotfl:
Made it up one flight of stairs so now slightly closer to the wall that needs plastering...:rotfl:

Evening lovely chums :hello:
Not much to report. Plastered the bedroom chimney breast on Sunday, and spent much of the rest of the day tidying up - plastering is SUCH a messy business! I really do need an apprentice to tidy up behind me, it would be SO much quicker:rotfl:
Today I've spent an alarming number of hours booking travel for my upcoming Scandinavian work trip. This is NOT a job I like. I hate faffing about with websites and comparisons, making decisions about timings and 'if I do this, then what train would I need to catch?' nonsense. Urgh.
However, I got myself a pile of paper, a diary, and put my determined face on, and did battle with the work online travel booking system. Yes, I could have rung up and spoke to someone (and in fact I had to make FOUR phone calls during the course of my using the online system :rotfl: ) but I wanted to be able to see all my options before making a decision.
Funny how it's SO ingrained to look for the cheapest thing, and to inconvenience myself even when work is paying and they'd far rather I just got there quickly and in one piece without them having to pay for several extra days of my time as I shave £20 off each leg of the journey:rotfl: Finally found a compromise between not spending a fortune, leaving myself enough time and flexibility, and being there for the time I'd said I would be there :j
Scared now:rotfl:
Popped into the gym for half an hour at the end of the day on the stepper machine thingy, which is fast becoming my new favourite thingIt's kind of a cross between stepping and cross country skis, you move arms as well as legs, and the whole thing feels like you're doing giant boingy strides across the landscape - most fun
2.5 miles (and apparently 300 calories  ) later and I was SOOoooo hot and sticky! Urgh.
Bit tired now:rotfl: :rotfl:

Morning!
Just dashing though quickly to report more supef bargains in the co-op last night
Couple of bottles of posh shampoo and conditioner reduced from £2.49 to 49p each :money: which is great as I bought super cheap stuff lat time and the combination of that and plastering is turning my hair to straw
Also best bargain - super posh fancy razor cartridges reduced from £9.62 (for four! ) to £2.39 :j :j :j
Boxes were all based and dusty but who cares about that?? I got three boxes, and left the rest for someone else, although if there's still a pile when I pop in tonight I might nab a few more - don't want them getting thrown in the bin!
They must be having a right old clearout of the dark dusty corners of the stock room :rotfl: :j
Right, onwards to work my pretties!0 -
Great bargains Cheery. Shame we don't have a coop near us. I could do with new razor heads :rotfl:
Your plastering jobs look fab. I'm so impressed you are doing it all yourself. Have you got much more to do?
Work trip sounds like a right faff! Hope it's worth it xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Nice bargains Cheery! - Nothing like posh toiletries at rock-bottom prices!!!
We've not yet made it to the 'dodgy' c0-0p- but we did go into a different one over the weekend & not a bargain in sight
- just noticed a c0-0p local on my way into work, so may just have to visit tomorrow morning & see what they might be clearing!

Oh it'll be worth it starnac - tis only a faff because I'm not used to it
:rotfl:
Still plenty of plastering to do, not sure how! Two walls on the stairs, bathroom, tiny bit of landing, and then by the back door. Getting there!
Have already done 4 landing/stairs walls and the chimney breast and another wall in the bedroom. Getting faster!
Finally got round to returning my tri suit that didn't fit this morning. Still within the time fortunately!Should be a £22 refund (minus the £3 postage I just paid). Better than nowt :j

Morning chums :hello:
VERY excited this morning as we're off to visit a certain stripey-socked MSE-er :j :j :j :j
Everything's packed - mostly food, not sure why, I'm sure it is actually possibly to acquire food in stripey-land :rotfl: tis actually mostly leftovers and reduced stuff :money: :rotfl:
Realised yesterday I've not done any washing for days and have no clean knickers:rotfl: but I am assured there are also washing facilities in stripey land too
Picnic packed so we shouldn't need to buy anything on the way up, tis a good 6 hours so we'll stop to swap drivers at some point and might have a cuppa
Need to sort YNAB over breakfast - purse seems mysteriously full of receipts again, not sure how that happened:rotfl:

Yay! I'm so excited for you. 6hours is nothing. It takes us two days to get there
I'm loving the fact that your packing consists of food and not much else. You will be very welcome at your destination I'm sure :rotfl:
Have a fantastic time :hello:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Never going ti get there at this rate - sat in car outside house while mr cheery tries to attach the exhaust pipe with a coathanger :rotfl: :rotfl: the rubber bit hasn't actually broken yet but I'd rather it didn't do it on the motorway so, you know, belt and braces :rotfl:
Do you go via her old house starnac?! :rotfl:0
