Well I'm cheerful - but the sun's not shining :rotfl:
Currently trying to figure out how to make Mr Cheery's 100 page photo book before the last order date of Wednesday... Fortunately pictures are pretty organised, but even so :eek:0 -
I feel your pain on that one Cheery - photobooks against deadlines are an utter pain!
The PDF for the Flylady steps is FAR easier that constantly having to go back and forth on the website isn't it! I confess that I haven't actually worked through them all methodically - decided at the start that definitely wouldn't suit me as there are two many airy-fairy (and let's face it, VERY American!) days in there where I would never have actually done what she was suggesting, and would have lost momentum as a result - but I have definitely adopted the general idea of the thing again and yes, no question, it DOES work. My big issue is that I really want to be tidy, but I also quite like "stuff" - and the two things struggle to meet. My friend summed it up brilliantly about himself earlier in the year when he said - in answer to my comment that I'd always had him down as a total neat-freak - that yes, he was, but he was a hoarder with a neat-freak desperately trying to escape!:rotfl:

Grrr, just wrote a giant post then closed the compter before it had posted. Idiot! :rotfl:
Anyway, I was just saying each to their own with the flylady thing - right now I need explicit instructions!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
And I was saying REMIND ME next time I am too stingy to pay £60 for a train ticket that spending 9 hours out of 24 driving on my own in the dark and rain down the motorway is NO FUN and to just cough up the train fare!! :rotfl:
Also wittered on about how much I spent but have just realised I'd used my £2 coin savings which were £42, and spent £44 :j :j
For that I got
- pair of Fly London ankle boots
- Burgundy Boden skirt
- green Next cardi
- black long sleeved t shirt
- black and white smart top
-bonkers black and grey trousers
- 2 pairs of rudolf earrings :j
- black velvety jacketNot too bad a haul! :j Stupid phone misbehaving ao going to go before it starts typing backwards again... :rotfl:
- purple cardi0 -
Ooh, and Icame home to a parcel
:j LOVE a parcel :j :j This was a book I won in a competition run by the professional association I joined for the sole purpose of putting that I was a member on my job application
:j They're actually very cheery and I've learned loads already :rotfl:
Anyway, won a book, they emailed to ask if it arrived but it hadn't, so they've sent another one, and told me to give the first one away if it turns up :j Tis a collection of essays by people who do jobs similar to the one I just got, writing about their jobs :rotfl: Figured it would come in handy:rotfl:

I hope I don't fall asleep like I did at the last lecture about 'the many faces of Carbon'.

Cheery office pal has to stay in it though so I shan't be setting it on fire
:rotfl:
Pretty sorted now :j Did most of the noisy/moving stuff today as office pal is in the next 2 days, so Wed and Thurs will all be about deleting and archiving stuff on the computer etc. And eating cakesAnd drinking

Thought the deadline was midnight on the 16th, but it was actually midnight on the 15th...
I would have made it as well if it hadn't taken 25 minutes to upload to the something-or-other, and then another 25 minutes to upload to somewhere else
Ah well, missed cut off by 24 minutes so fingers crossed they take pity on me and I still get it before Christmas! but it's hardly the end of the world if not
They were right though - order price was £76  but my £20 voucher made it £0:money:
Right - bed!0
