I know, surprising isn't it??
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Have made a giant load of mince pies, cabbage bhajis and potato wedges to freeze ready for our festive do too :j :j :j Mostly not wanting to spoil my recent weight loss enthusiasm by surrendering myself to what other people turn up withAt least I'll have something relatively wholesome to munch on!
Could do with spending ten mins deciding what I want to take and wear but we just watched a film and I'm pretty comfy on the sofa now...Watching a bit of the Hobbit as other film was pretty grim (mind you, hobbit isn't exactly a laugh a minute! :rotfl: :rotfl: )
Willl get up in the adverts, set timer for 15 mins, then do as much as I can...0 -
Darn it, those adverts came round quick  :rotfl: :rotfl:0
-
The "doing stuff in the ad breaks" approach definitely works, but I swear using that method increases the amount of ads there are on! :rotfl:

I used to do the ad break method too. Doesn't work as well now we don't have TV :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

:rotfl: :rotfl: starnac
Does that mean you get nothing done, or LOADS done?? I didn't have tv for years and don't remember being super productive
:rotfl:
Well what a lot has happened since I was last here! :j We went to the seasideand had a lovely time :j Most festive, love an out of season wintery seaside trip, especially just before Christmas :j I am all topped up on sea gazing and sunsets and seagulls and cafes and cheerfulness now :j We didn't have a 'window', just an enormous floor to (extremely high) ceiling set of glass doors - which we left open all night, it was that warm  On December 20th!!
Home last night, and lots of people came round for a drink and a mince pie, which was lovely :j No stress, the stuff I'd cooked just came out of the freezer and into the oven in shifts while people were here, other people brought a few nibbles too, and everything was lovely :j
Miraculously, I even kept on top of putting empties in the recycling, rinsing cups etc throughout the evening, so by the time the last person was here tipsily nattering to Mr Cheery in the kitchen, I swept the rest of the stuff into the sink and was all washed up and tidy by about 10 mins after he left :j
SO nice to get up to a nice clean kitchen this morning! :j There's a pile of bottles to go to the outside recycling of course, but that'll take five minutes (once I'm dressed...:rotfl: ) Just sat sorting my seasidey pics for the blog with a scented candle on and the fairy lights :j
NO plans for today at allOh, except it's a slimming world 'taster session' tonight - I'm going to make the cabbage bhaji things that everyone loved last night but that won't take long. Might try to stay at home - I've got all my presents, and if I don't get any more food it won't matter :j :j
Hopping to town to meet a friend tomorrow but that's the only thing I have properly planned for the next few daysHow lovely
Also going to take back my leaving present from workwhich I feel kind of dreadful about, but it was bought by boss (who I don't like that much, and who doesn't know me that well), it's something I won't really use (and don't really like) and she did leave the gift receipt (and the price tag on :rotfl: ) so I could take it back, so I'm not going to feel too bad
They gave me a gift voucher for the same shop too, so I'll just add it all together and get something else
Right, blog post and then some more tea I think :j0 -
It means I get loads done of course *cough cough* or maybe just nothing
Wow I'm impressed with your tidying at the party. The best way to do it obviously. Well done.
I will look forward to your blog post. We went to the sea side on saturday but only looked at it out of the caravan window :rotfl: we were only there for a couple of hours for a christmas party anyway.
Hope you manage to return your gift. I would feel guilty too but there's no point keeping it if it's just going to collect dust. None of need any more of that! :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
