"I think that the opinion of those who take the time to post them and maintain the thread should bear a lot more weight than the opinion of the rest of us."

with the exception of jambodaveprince just above they have , as far as i rememmber, not offered an opinion. ive said this before its hard to come to a conclusion when those already involved in the threads dont say anything

OK I'm saying it, as it is a debate, I prefer the way I did it, for these reasons:

    1. It helped ease Daily Sticky (as was originally clogging that up)
    2. A single stickied thread doesn't clogg up the main forum
    3. Ease of use for entering mag dailies
    4. Less work to maintain an up-to-date thread

Personally I have devised my own way of entering them now using a different programme, which imitates how it used to be.

Each to their own, but please remember the effort from those that do post links and keep thread updated

  • I have only very recently started to do the mag dailies so I really have no opinion on how they are and how they were posted! I don't mind then being in the Main board at all.....

I really think that it should be up to the posters of the dailies and what makes it easier for them!

    :)

I've said my opinion many times on all the other threads right from when CP asked & had the poll in the beginning through to the last few threads regarding the daily mags & each time either got slated/pulled down/ & or made to feel my opinion wasn't worth typing,
so I decided to keep out of the arguments/debates & let those who wish to run the main page thread run it how they wish to run it :)

This is a debate fire**fly and everyone's entitled to their opinion, and everyone's opinion counts :T

I agree totally, I have lost count of the number of discussions / debates we've had about this topic, in each one I've posted my opinion like in this one. It's infuriating that so many people who actually DO the mag dailies regularly, seem to share the same opinion, but that opinion is not likely to get listened to or taken on board. Thanks CP1 for raising the debate again but I don't think it's going to achieve anything.

I am getting fed up of saying the same things, it seems plain that nothing's going to change so I guess I and others like me will just have to learn to put up and shut up!

If we can get a poll up and running - with a yes or no - hopefully this can be sorted!

And with no 'I don't mind' option! I too get fed up with the same discussion going round in circles - if there is one poll and one vote each - yes/no - sorted!/full stop!/cease!/end off/done!

I liked the old way more. Now, I go straight to the magazine sites, it's quicker that way.

I liked the way Cornish did it before Christmas, that was the quickest and simplest for me.

As long as they are mentioned in the FAQ, there's no reason for newbies to lose out.

But I would like to say a huge thank you to all the posters, past and present as its a massive job xx
