I much preferred the way the magazine dailies were posted in CP1's time. I found them much easier and quicker to do. Nowadays, with so many, and shuffling between posts, I rarely, if ever bother. I know that's my choice, but I really would like to go back, at least to having the direct link back in the sticky, rather than in the main post.

I don't mind if they are posted on the main board or not. I just really miss the direct links. I used to enter using the Mag Daily lists now I bookmark them for myself which is fine but if there is a problem entering on one browser (which sometimes happens) then you have a problem. Also if you go on holiday then it is time consuming to get bookmarks up to date again. Also I sometimes get the answer wrong!

personally i dont like them on the main board. but think it would be better and fairer if each prize was given its own thread and then each link to the different mags was in that thread, rather than individually.

i dont enter from here anyway. like luckyone does i enter direct. the questions are easy and those i dont know [ usually from Look mag ] i google. i cant see any benefit to entering via this site. seems like an awfull lot of work

I have got into a method of posting the mag Daily thread that I like.
If any body wants it doing different they can volunteer and take on the thread and do it how they like.

    regards Dave
I do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus

I will go a long with whatever is decided. However, I think that the opinion of those who take the time to post them and maintain the thread should bear a lot more weight than the opinion of the rest of us.

Also, going off on a tangent, if all competitions are supposed to be posted on the main board, not hidden away somewhere, why are some comps, such as this one https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4750234, that are E: ONCE ONLY not on the main board too? It only has 9 thanks at the moment. A competition with £150 of vouchers as the prize would normally attract a lot more than 9 thanks if posted on the main board.

There are loads of competitions that are to my mind hidden away in the regulars board. If the mag daillies are going to be on the main board, then I think that everything else should be too.

BIB I agree, in the last thread discussing this there were a lot of people who wanted all of the different magazine links (for the same comp) in a single thread on the main board, yet none of them were volunteering to do it.

    First point Agree:T

Second point That one was on the main board and now gone to GO
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4750231

(only had 88 thanks while on main so not everyones cup of tea - only 10 stores with just one south of Birmingham and York being the furthest north)

Third point Nothing is "hidden away" anyone who bothers to read the comping guide and stickies will know where it all is - so it's more a question of should things be arranged to try and suit people who cannot be bothered to read for themselves?

I don't touch the mag dailies and although sometimes it gets a bit tiresome seeing the same competitions posted time and time again, the X makes it quite easy to pass over them.

    Good for you Jambo :T

After all it's mainly you with Fire**fly & I've also seen One Eye listing them too.

I really don't think people realise how much work there is in listing the daily mags. For all the other regular sections everyone adds to the end of the thread & a different person looks after adding them to the front page. But you are doing everything.

If you just think about every mag post you see Jambo posting weather you agree with it or not that is a lot of work.

I don't get on with it my choice, so I found a way I am happy entering them.

I think it's time to stop now, let it go it's quiet clear that the thread won't be going back to how it was so we need to move on, find a way that you can cope with & move forwards

I've said my opinion many times on all the other threads right from when CP asked & had the poll in the beginning through to the last few threads regarding the daily mags & each time either got slated/pulled down/ & or made to feel my opinion wasn't worth typing,
so I decided to keep out of the arguments/debates & let those who wish to run the main page thread run it how they wish to run it :)
