i likd them on the main board as i dont use the mag dailies thread find it very quick and cant keep upWhat goes around-comes around0

Either way it's done I'd find a system to suit me as I imagine most would eventually. A decision just needs to be made and then left alone. If people dislike it then find your own way to enter. Simples.0

I like it how it is now. I don't have time to do the dailies, but every now and then a comp pops up that is via Woman's Weekly; What's On TV etc (ie all of them) that I think is worth the time and effort. If these were not posted on the main board I would never see them and thus not enter.
I don't really suffer from too much finger fatigue by having to scroll past the competitions that I don't want to enter, be that dailies, rafflecopters etc as I don't see any competitions as clutter.
Keep it as it is IMO as it's working fine for everyone surely?UEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0 -
I do Mag Dailies everyday unless I work back to back nights. I prefer Jambo's thread due to layout, where they have used only 5 posts to list all mags.
CP1 has used 19 posts to cover all mags, I found it quite chaotic and unable to work my way around it.
I do not mind all mag dailies being posted separately on the main board I "x" them all, because I enter from Regular Comp thread.0 -
What exactly is the point of discussing it?
It's obvious what the preference of most people who regularly use the thread is.
But then it was obvious several weeks ago when the sticky mag thread was closed without any comment or discussion.
What exactly has changed since?0 -
OK, had an idea.
The overwhelming choice is to have direct links from the mags thread. Just to emphasise again that this is a completely separate question from whether they are posted on the main board as well!
Like many others, I am not in a position to take on running the whole mags daily board. I would, however, be wlling and able to do some of the mags, maybe 3 or 4. Before the advents started someone pointed out that a carefully constructed thread with the first half dozen of so posts split between different posters could be used to spread the workload and I think that that would work here.
So the first posts on the thread could be:
General guidance
Mags 1-4 - Poster 1
Mags 5-8 - Poster 2
and so on, spreading the load. It could even be arranged that each poster has a mixture of mags with not many comps and mags with lots.
New mag comps could and should be posted on the main board and a link added to the end of the daily thread showing clearly the name of the mag. The different posters maintaining the thread could then check and update the direct links in the posts at the beginning of the thread.
Probably haven't explained that brilliantly but hope it makes sense. As I said, happy to take on some of the mags.
What do you think guys?0 -
How long is the poll to run for before the decision is made? - looks like it is back to the old way (yeah!):TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

The vote at the moment is almost 2 to 1 for them to be posted on a stickied thread on the main board if it remains that way then your suggestion would be easily workable, whoever deals with a particular magazine(s) just adds a post with a new competition (including as with all other competitions a direct link) to the end of the stickied thread and edits their particular magazine post at the top end of the thread.0
