I'm happy to add a photo and for it to be used for future reference, is there a way of uploading a photo directly from a smart phone?0

The 'crime' was committed in Oct 2013. I'm going to continue ignoring any future correspondence.
The "Notice of assignment of debt" letter was from
Civil Enforcement Ltd
Horton House
Exchange Flags
Liverpool L2 3PF
They have assigned 87.5% to this organisation and say "..we have instructed Debt Enforcement & Action Limited to recover this remaining amount on our behalf". How they are going to do that ?
They'll get "Dynamo" to conjure it up!0 -
Are any here dealing with CEL's "10 minute rule" at Co-op, Whitby?
PM me if you are, for a set of images that will help.0 -
Hi all, I also received a 'notice of assignment of debt' - I had ignored all previous letters as recommended and will continue to do so. I wanted to point out to co-op the issues so I made a call to the customer relations dept today to let them know how stressful the situation was and, as the letter points out that it is 'in accordance with a contract with The Co-operative Group Limited' - I wanted to get their take on things...
They gentleman I spoke to said the only option was to speak to Civil Enforcement. He was quite curt and said that if I it was nothing to do with co-op and what did I expect them to do? He added that as I hadn't 'bothered' to contact Civil Enforcement I really didn't have any real point to my complaint.
Thanks for that co-op! 'here for you for life'? I think not!
I'll continue to ignore the letters and maybe now avoid co-op too!0 -
Glad to see that an organisation so wedded to its membership is prepared to engage CEL. I hope the Op will be refusing their divvy. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Hello
We have received the same letter today also.
Co-op parking from 20 December 2012. We have ignored every letter they have sent but this one has given me some worry. Please reassure me I am still ok to ignore? Thank you.0 -
P.s. My crime was committed in Scotland.0

Received a letter today from Civil Enforcement LTD after a year of nothing, saying exactly the same, they're going to pas on 87.5% of the debt to a Debt Enforcement agency.
What I'm worried about is them sending bailiffs to my old address and harassing people.
What are the chances of that actually happening? Or should I throw this letter on the fire?0 -

No chance of bailiffs, carry on ignoring them, never burn or dispose of a letter threatening an action!
This is new so we haven't seen were its going yet, but we would like to see how a debt that does not exist is assigned to anyone.0
