That sounds right, have you tried logging on from the community page - my direct link log in didn't work but the community page one did.

Thanks Scuba........that worked. Site is very different and will have to have a better look when my brain is normal.. Its tired at the moment due to too much alcohol last night.

The one thing I don't like, on the brief look I have had is that the body of the review can't seem to be split into paragraphs, which for me makes easier reading but I'm not really against the 500 maximum words as I found some reviews did rattle on a little.

Where are they finding all these happy people, I wonder? None of them are commenting online so it must be some sort of private feedback Dooyoo is getting! I can't believe they singled out the Sitemap as a positive either - the five sitemaps are useless and not maps at all, just random lists of names and numbers!


The most worrying development I have seen is someone on FB claiming to have been paid 30 miles for a review. (3p).


It seems to me that the site's been announced as live when it is in fact completely dysfunctional. I'm not quite sure how they are deluding themselves into thinking it's in any way ready.

To be fair latest news does say

"You've probably also noticed that there are still some bugs that need to be fixed :-)." - This has to be the understatement of the year!

It also says "We currently still have some issues with the product proposals and the dooyooMiles. No worries, although your latest dooyooMiles are not visible in your accounts, they are still recorded!"

I do hope this gets sorted. Not just because I'm at 47,000 miles but because I've really enjoyed this site since joining in August last year.

My update...
Just had half an hour to spend so visited the site to see if I could get anywhere...


Firstly I noticed I had 30 miles pending (not been active for ages so this had been zero for a while) I can't see where these have come from. As far as I can see there's no place now to see who's read or rated my reviews. I found a (relatively) recent review and successfully rated it and another one, in the meantime my pending miles was now 60, and then I went to write one.


I wrote about cat food, being easy to write about and using it really as an experiment more than anything else. When it came to posting, I got the "404 Error" message. I edited a bit then tried again, got the same message, went back to try again but the review was gone. I then tried again, with a few words about Walkers Crisps - again, not a huge amount of effort on my part, but this one posted successfully. I went back to my page and I had been credited 30 miles.


Looks like 30 miles could well be the norm for previous Level 3 reviews :O


Going back now to try a bit more but at 30 miles a review (unless their value has changed) there's not going to be much incentive for me over there, sadly.


*ETA Been back and tried a third review - 404 issue again, but my miles have gone up again - I wonder if I've had 30 miles for each of the reviews that wouldn't post? My Crisps one doesn't appear to have been rated, so it seems odd that my miles are going up in multiples of 30...??!!

Interestingly milmol7 I've just logged in and I've randomly had 30points added to my account - although for no reason as I haven't done anything and I doubt anybody is rating at the moment.

Dilemma now as I have enough to cash out in Amazon, don't know whether to cash out and draw a line under it or wait for things to be a bit more stable as worried my cash out will get 'lost' among all the other issues. Other people don't seem to have received theirs.

Argh I've just gone onto dooyoo to do some ratings and I had no idea it had changed! I agree with what you've all been saying - it's awful! I can't figure out who has rated my last review so that I can return the rate and it's so hard to try to navigate. It seems very quiet on there - I think I will have to try harder to get used to Ciao. I'm really disappointed because I have been a member of dooyoo for ages and like to read other people's reviews as well as writing them

Ciao is worth persevering with and you will get used to the layout in time. Also the earning potential on there (at least and until they go the same way as Dooyoo) for the most part better. Also, many people from Dooyoo are also members of Ciao and regularly submit reviews on there, so you should still be able to link up with those that you know.

Further to my post yesterday, my miles pending has now leapt to 810 ! Either there has been a ratings frenzy or something (else) bizarre is going on! Oh well...


I have had a dooyoo mail notification to tell me that my review (of crisps, so traditionally level 3) got 11 ratings yesterday, so what would have been 110 miles. So firstly, well done and thanks to anyone who managed to rate, but secondly 100+110 = 210 miles ... puzzling indeed!
