    Eighth Anniversary Combo Breaker
I'm on Internet Explorer 11, I can log on without any problem, I have managed to post 1 review, the rest give an error message, and I can rate reviews seemingly without a problem (the few I can find).

Someone posted on their Facebook wall stating that she spoke German and so decided to phone DooYoo HQ. She got through to a receptionist who explained they were in the middle of moving offices and very few people were around, apparantly the receptionist has noted the feedback she gave and the complaint about lack of communication from the company and assured her it'll be passed on to the appropriate person.

If more of us spoke German we could probably do the same thing, as it is I think we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

Because the guides (if they still exist) have been told nothing and there was no response on facebook I tweeted the CEO of leguide.com who own the site and copied dooyoo in to say it was a disaster!!! Have had a reply from the CEO and have had some dialogue with him in French - you can probably see it if you are on twitter and go into dooyoo's tweets..... Basically he said they are going to fix the bugs and THEN tell people what is happening. I will believe it when I see it and can't believe how badly it has all been handled and how bad the site it.

Just thought I would post this here in case helpful - think some of the guides might try and email the CEO also - confusion rules as they seem to be between offices and then telling the German members on the German twitter to check out the new British brilliant site. It would all be hilarious if I didn't think that some people have lots of miles that seem to be lost in the ether...... I cashed in when the guy who was running it left and since then there has been no communication of any meaningfulness...

They are ignoring facebook but as I said at least I know the head honcho has read twitter!!!

Thanks Azana - the guides have been treated abysmally.

I haven't always got on with all of the guides but I think that it is disgusting how they've been cut off and just basically ignored, after effectively running the website for free and on their own time!!

Looks bad, I've got 2500 miles that are about to expire if I don't make 1000 miles, and nobody is on the site and I can see why.

And what's with the Mr Magoo Vision too, everything is huge.

dooyoo should really just be honest, say they don't want to pay any more. They should pay out what's in peoples accounts in Amazon vouchers or cash now, even if below their limit then turn it off.

At the end of the day, almost everything product wise is reviewed on Amazon or other sites anyway.

Joined Ciao. Posted a review. My face is so confused right now. No ratings but 3 reads, 12 views and £0? Is there a MSE board for Ciao anywhere, I can't see one? Thanks :)

  • Ciao is similar in that there are levels, but different in that you get pennies or half-pennies depending on what level your review is on. It tends to increase your total after midnight, as far as I can tell.

You can see what level the product is on, next to "Write your review it should have a £, a ££ or a £££. If you post a review for something that has a £ then you get 0.5p for every member rating, ££ gets you 1p per member rating and £££ is 2p per member rating. Also if you're the first person to post a review for that product then the reward rating is doubled for the month.

It takes a while to build up the money, but on the other hand the payout threshold is only £5, so swings and roundabouts.

    Dear dooyoos,
Due to technical problems we haven't had full access to some important tools during some days. This is the reason that our answers to your questions come so late. We apologize for any inconvenience and we are working hard to get all the functionalities working again as soon as possible !
We'd like you to know that we are reading your posts and e-mails and fully understand your concerns.
    To answer some first questions:
    1. Our developers have been informed about the problems concerning Guides and product proposals.
    2. The levels are set correctly in our system but due to a display error they are not yet visible on the website.
    3. There is no need to worry about losing your
dooyooMiles! They are still being recorded.
    4. Requested vouchers will be sent as soon as possible!
More details will follow soon in dooyooCommunity News!"
  • Well I got a confirmation email from them as I created an account it just took me to the log in page and I couldn't log in D: not very good start at all. I was really looking forward to this as a review products on my blog all the time.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Also 40p on Ciao for every FACE review for April and May - meaning face creams etc - not sure if that covers make up as well but not a bad payout.
