I have seen reports of the redemption tab not working even when you have enough miles to redeem to a voucher. Anyone have any experience of this before I keep trying to reach my 20000 mile level? Thanks!0
-
I can only report two things:
1. mine went through without a hitch
2. its easy to rattle up the miles at the moment, the whole of beauty is level 1 (hair care, cosmetics, oral care, bath & shower, fragrance etc etc) as are pet categories.
As I mentioned above, I do believe it seems like a gamble at the moment.
Reads/ ratings on reviews written are 6 or 7 at best for me... so the miles build up is only coming from writing.
Hope this helps & good luck0 -
I'm back on the site too. As milmol7 says, beauty stuff is at level 1 so I'm trying to post one review a day. The site is busier now with lots of people writing a lot but not doing much rating. 8-10 ratings seems about the norm .0

I'm also posting to try to get to the next £20 just now, but had a weird experience tonight. I clicked on to the DooYoo page and, before even trying to log in, found myself in someone else's account. It was someone I'd never heard of before, and he had only 36 published reviews but about £200 worth of points waiting to be claimed, so I think we can say it is still glitchy!0

I imagine that is another one of the accounts that has been given too many points in the changeover... 200/36 is a LOT to make from each review isn't it!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
My feelings exactly - especially as it looks like he never rates anything!0

I used to review on this site. I logged in last week and 'redeemed' several large amounts of Amazon vouchers and also wrote one brand new review having not used the site for years, just to retest the site and see if it still worked.
Dooyoo then emailed me to say I could not have any of these miles as they had been credited to my account my accident. That was fair enough, even though I thought I probably would have clocked up some miles in the last few months/years just through readings.
I replied to their email and asked if I had clocked up any miles albeit a matter of pence in the last few years that I could redeem. I also asked if they could outline the current pay structure for reviews, having just written a new review.
Dooyoo have not yet replied to my email asking about the current pay structure, but they were very quick to reply initially and inform me that I could not redeem any of the miles on my account.
On the website, I click on 'Miles Help Statement' and it provides no information and the 'My Miles Redeemable - Vouchers' button does not seem to allow you to select it. So basically, there is nowhere on the site that tells you how much the site pays for a review and how it all works.
Does anyone have advice on where this information is or could explain what the current pay structure is. It seems dubious that the site doesn't display that key information to its users. When surely this should be clear and transparent.0 -

Miles have an expiration date, so any miles earned over the years would likely have expired.
There was a known error where they paid a LOT of Amazon vouchers to people that had not accrued the relevant miles, which really serves them right IMO for the amount of time it took them to pay people that had genuinely earned their money.
The Facebook page may be a good page to speak to Dooyooers who still use the site, which doesn't appear to be very busy anymore. I know when I was waiting for payments before, for around two months, there were still nice people there willing to help out.
Dooyoo may well just ignore your messages now you've asked for clarification on any miles they actually owe you, as that seems to be the norm with them now, IMO.
I personally stopped using the Dooyoo website when they changed the site layout, as I found it almost impossible to see what the pay structure was like now, and for a lot of months the site was basically useless, which just put me off.
I know that some people are able to churn out a LOT of reviews again now, which is something that I used to do, and I did think about coming back but the problems with them overclocking miles and not paying out in the past has just put me off.
Anyone who wants to check that I know what I am talking about with my experiences of Dooyoo feel free to look at the top reviewers of all time, where you will see I racked up over 2,000 reviews in my time with them. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi,
It looks like you can no longer opt for cash:
4. What can I do with my dooyooMiles?
You can exchange your dooyooMiles for:
Amazon.co.uk e-vouchers
Once you have earned at least 20,000 dooyooMiles you can redeem them for an Amazon.co.uk voucher, and once your request has been processed by the dooyooTeam the gift voucher code will be emailed to you directly from Amazon.co.uk. You will usually receive the email from Amazon within 10 days of redeeming your dooyooMiles.0
