Hi all,
Huge changes everyone.
Time to give the controversial posting.
So I've been looking and looking for holidays went to travel agents but they were way too expensive over £1,500 more than what was online. I was looking now so we can book early and pay it slowly.
Original plan: Me and oh we're going halves on the trip both paying £2,500 each this includes spending money. I was going to start saving as part of my big 7 month plan.
What I've done actually done: I found a great deal for the week we wanted, with the direct flights we wanted, with the hotel we wanted. I booked it! The deposit is the cost of the flight, transfers and airport parking. The only thing left to pay will be the hotel. So how did I do it??
I used my cc one for the protection and two because Of the amount.
So the amount that went on my cc today was £2,100 with £1,300 left to, pay for the hotel.
I ve moved money from my emergency fund and my account and I've paid £1,000 off my cc straight away. My OH is going to give me £65 per week from this week to pay towards the holiday until we go.
See I told you controversial
My new revised plan: pay off cc ASAP, then go back to building up the emergency fund which now stands at £75, then save for car settlement.
How I'm going to do this: there is £1,116 left to pay of CC.
£500 on payday, daily pads and OT.
I really don't feel guilty about my decision and I am very grateful to all of your encouragement over the past couple of weeks. Hope you will all continue with me and my 7 month plan:
Pay off settlement figure for the car £14,675
Pay my half of holiday £2,500
Have emergency fund of £1,000
One months wage surplus in bank account £1,400
All I've done is change my starting block (rolling with the punches) here I go again...........3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

i can't blame you with the holiday, youve got an amazing deal, and as you say a plan to pay it off....
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hey hon
I paid for my holiday on a 0% interest cc and paid that off with the money I'd saved plus the rest over the remaining period. People did ask me why and it was mainly to do with the added protection. I think even if you hadn't got a good deal then you probably should have booked it on a cc anyway.
However, you did get a good deal, you do have the protection and so you do have a fab holiday to look forward to!! Top workxx

Thanks for the support guys
I actually have the day off a few family stresses to sort out later. But until then I'm sorting paperwork out, and finishing the paperwork for my promotion to be put into place even though it's very daunting.

Hi all,
Daily PAD to CC £25.64 today. I've got until 4th June to pay it all off, so I don't get charged interest. Balance of CC at £1090.00 from today.
Nothing else to update, payday from OT tomorrow no idea how much I will be getting paid however much it is though will go straight to cc. I turned a shift down for tonight need to rest.
I've got an OT shift booked Sunday night that's enough. I have spa day booked next week brought from Groupon a while ago. I can't wait.
Have a good day everyone.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
