Hey sweetie
Glad you're getting things organised and that you're having fun with YNAB. The thunderstorm was awesome both nights and today but we've had a lot of flooding in the city - not near me thankfully - but not too much damage. However school will have a very grouchy Littley tomorrow I think as she stayed up watching the lightning strikes all night. So glad she won't be at home haha.
The PAD challenge you mentioned is exactly how I've been saving to pay for my trip. It's taken me forever to do it but each day I round down my bank balance or round up a bill. I also put in any savings at the store or any money off your next shop tokens on there. When the CTB went up that extra 20p goes straight across. Sounds silly but it all adds up.
Have a great week honxx

Hiya ladies,
Yes definitely the case of every penny counts. I enter my daily spends on the YNAB app and it automatically takes it of the total.
The other great thing about the YNAB app is my debt is highlighted in red with a big fat minus next to it. Helps to me remember that CC is not my money. Right I will stop jabbering on about the app now lol
Got to go back to work now as only on a lunch break, hope everyone is enjoying the3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hey all,
Looks like I was a little late to the "small payments can do a lot" train girls. But I'm all aboard now.
I'm not going to mention the fantastic app as people will think I'm working for them lol.
Was at work on a normal shift today. Tomorrow I'm doing overtime so better get my self to bed.
Debt is going down a penny at time, continuing to make my small payments everyday.
It's my DS birthday in a couple of days got to make sure I stay contained, I've brought his present and we are going out in the day and then for a family meal just got to stick to the budget.
Haven't been able to cross anything off my percentage chart yet I can't wait to payday...CC will be going down... :-)
I'm still not buying lunch at work or buying bottles of water, a couple of habits I've stuck too.
Hope whoever is reading is having a good week xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hiya short entry tonight,
It's been a busy old time, finally hit pause. If I've not been working I've been sleeping. The washing pile definitely reached its peak. 8 wash loads today and I've barely made a dent it feels.
Got pretty much most of the school shop done. Got no OT booked this week even though it feels like I have I'm tired.
My OH feels a million miles away from me at the moment, so it's getting to me a little bit.
School shop was a lot more than I thought it was going to be. So only paid £400 of CC and not £600. Will still try and get CC under the £2,000 mark before August payday.
Will update my signature soon, waiting for next statement to come through.3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
