Soooo glad to hear you've FINALLY got paid- that must be such a relief! :j
You sound like you need a bit of extra support at the moment.. hang in there hun, we're all rooting for you! I know this is all meant to be about money saving and debt-busting, but if you need anybody to talk to, you know where we are. Hit me up any time you want. xx
The boiler people are absolutely ridiculous. You really need to take it further - I don't know much about any of this, but perhaps you should contact ombudsmen who may be able to help? There's absolutely no excuse for them totally fobbing you off the way they are. I hope it gets sorted out soon.

Thanks hon. I'm generally an upbeat person that others turn to for support so I absolutely hate feeling like this but I think it's because I'm feeling a bit poorly atm.
Have just paid the mortgage so yes, that is a relief! Have also got up to a fiver to transfer into savings so that's gone up and have updated my signature accordingly. That makes me feel good!
Thank you for your support. It does mean a lot and it's the same back for you too. Oh that sentence doesn't make any sense whatsoever but I'm sure you know what I mean! xxCC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832

Everyone's entitled to their off-colour days - even if you are usually the pillar of support! So don't beat yourself up for feeling under the weather
I hope you feel better soon anyway - so many nasty bugs going around. Take it easy and keep yourself warm!
Yay for having a £5 to transfer to the savings! Excellent! :j
By the way - your daughter taking you up to bed after falling asleep on the sofa? What an absolute sweetheart. She sounds like such an angel - what a credit to you! xxx0 -
Thank goodness you have been paid, and you are keeping going. You have had an awful lot to contend with this month, so you are going to be emotionally wrung out. Go with the flow and the sun will come up x."I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Hi everyone,
Just a quick popping in to see what's going on. We walked home from school yesterday and in again this morning so it's great to see some more money going into that pot. It's now at £5.40 so I'm really chuffed.
Thank you for saying my littley is a credit to me. She's such a lovely little thing but it's great to hear other people say it too as I can be quite biased - obviously! She made me a beautiful Valentine's Day card - sorry Valence times card - bless her and has told me to rest tonight. I'm really looking forward to our pamper session tomorrow and I know she is too.
I've been shopping today and have kept within my budget but as yet haven't updated it on here or my spreadsheet. I've got to get littley & give her a little surprise for Valentine's Day and then it's lappy off til Monday.
Hope you're all having a great day wherever you are and whatever you're doing. Have a great weekend! xxCC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832

Morning all
How were your weekends? We had more wind damage over the weekend although not enough for my liking! lol As I mentioned my fence has been blown down and is beyond repair but it's still going to take a bit of work to get it down properly so I was hoping the winds were going to bring it down totally - like the fence across the street that ended up on the next door neighbour's cars!
We had our pamper day. It was really lovely and as they were quiet my littley got an extra treatment as well as the one we'd booked - for free! Can't complain. We then went and had dinner at my parents so that was lovely too.
Today is kind of a duvet day where littley is snuggled watching Toy Story 3 (whilst cuddling her fave teddies very tightly!) and I'm trying to do some work.
Have a good day! xCC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832

I am so pleased that pamper day lived up to expectation and that you have moved on to duvet day, enjoy and re-charge, and prepare for a great debt busting week."I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Morning
It was fab so yeah, really enjoyed it!
Just gone through my budgets and can see that I've not got as much left this month as I'd hoped, it's certainly going to be a challenge! Am really going to try my best though.
On a brighter note, a bill that I have to pay in US$ was less than I thought this month so put that budgeted extra across into savings so that's all good.

Hi hun
So glad to hear the pampering session was good! Excellent on the freebie for the little one
I'm also straining budgets this month a little more than I'd hoped. But we're both still within budgets so we shouldn't feel too bad! If your signature is up-to-date you're doing good! February is a short month too at least
Enjoy your duvet day.. I wish I was having one of those! xx0 -
Well, my signature is now up to date so not doing too bad I suppose.
The duvet day has now finished as I've got all my work done and we now have other bits to do, but we managed until 11 so that's ok. That's one of the perks of working for myself really, that I can lay in bed in my pjs with my littley. Can't imagine an office or somewhere allowing that! lol
Got 3 things booked this week and so far they're all free! Not sure how we wangled that but all's good so not going to knock it. xxCC1: 10273.70/6892.56. CC2: 1000/832
