Afternoon hun!
Hurray for unexpected payments! :j I don't blame you at all for using it to treat the family. It wasn't money you needed, it wasn't part of your budget, you didn't know about it so you can't miss it! It's lovely to be able to treat the people you love once in a while, so good on you
Also well done on the awesome table bargain! I think you should take some before and after photos so we can all see your project! I've always fancied trying something like that. Perhaps I'll have to start having a nosey in charity shops for something similar!
Fingers crossed something finally gets done about the boiler. This has been going on for so long its ridiculous - grrr at them!
Have a lovely day

It is lovely to treat people, especially when it is well thought out, and using an unexpected bonus. You are spreading your good fortune around.
What a fantastic bargain at the charity shop and well done for practicing your haggling techniques. That sounds like an enjoyable project too x."I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Thanks guys. I still had some of the money left so threw it at one of my debts & did a shop with the rest - always nice! Reminds me, must update my signature!
I'm quite excited about the tables. I'll definitely be taking some pics as this is the first time I've tried something like this. Can't wait!

Hi all, hope you've all had a good day.
Not much to say today except that we walked to school so that's another 45p in the pot - lovely. Also put another fiver across into the birthday/christmas money. I'm now only a fiver away from my daughter's birthday budget and the rest can go to Christmas. Anything more is a bonus.
That's all. Ridiculously tired today & feeling a bit run down so going to chuff off and get me some sleep. Night everyonex

My early night was non-existent! I have hurt my left shoulder and unfortunately that's the side I sleep on so it was getting worse. I've been trying to sleep on my back these last few days which I'm finding really hard. I've gotten into a sleep cycle of staying awake until 1 or 2am, sleeping until 7 when the alarm goes off, then struggling through the day.
And my shoulder still hurts but at least I wasn't tired! lol
On a plus we walked to school today so that's another 45p - whoop! And I went through my debts again and realised I can clear one a month earlier than I expected so that's a bonus.
I also don't have as much work this week as normal although next week is going to be mega so I'm debating whether to just chill this week in prep for next, or do other bits and pieces. This is the problem with having a tired head, you can't make decisions for yourself properly.
Ah well, onwards and upwardsx

Your sleep cycle sounds a lot like mine - an "early night" for me is any time before midnight! Usually its 1 a.m. or so before I'm asleep, then alarm goes off at 7.20. Terrible really - but its hard to crack habits of a lifetime!
Excellent news on a debt being cleared quicker than you thoughtIt'll be an excellent feeling to see one gone altogether :j
Hope the shoulder feels better soon - nothing worse than shoulder/back pain

Thanks for your great suggestions on my diary. At least chill today! Well done for keeping up with the walking despite feeling tired x."I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger, and then it hit me". £9/£250

Evening all
So, today's been an up and down day. Even though I'm so tired I managed to do everything on my to do list and even a bit more. Littley is shattered too so we've got tired behaviour going on which winds me up a treat when I'm tired so it's been a tiring day!
I've also just found out I've lost one of my contracts today which is a complete a*se. I'm not that bothered work wise as it was a pain to do for not much money but at the end of the day it was money.
However, I have another contract that I've not registered anywhere in my accounts (except the Taxman's obviously!) and that's more than the one I lost. My theory was that if I didn't budget the money in I wouldn't waste it. I was going to throw it all at debt/savings etc but I've now budgeted that in and the difference I've marked as savings. Think that makes sense but it's written with tired fingers/thinking (dysfunctional thinking I believe! lol).
Anyway, I've been doing my Nectar surveys and that's building up and I've just started doing My Survey and have already done quite a few on there so hopefully there'll be a few extra pennies coming in. And I must put things on ebay.
So all in all I'm no worse off than I was this morning even though I am - or something!! I'm going to bed I thinkx

Well I'm sorry to hear about you losing one of your contracts - BUT I'm glad you're not too disappointed
See, I'm exactly the opposite here - if I don't budget money anywhere i KNOW I will waste it! But it's worked out the best for you now, which is great. Will there be any chance of getting another contract to replace the one you've lost? Hopefully something will come up soon for some extra money.
Hope you had a good sleep and have a good day today!
