So most families have news of a pregnancy in the spring? Must be very big families then! unless you are counting third cousins and the like, if you take it to mean (as I did) the immediate family then I think that's unlikely.
Still it did give me hope when I was TTC, particularly when I found out but hadn't told anyone yet, and was petrified of miscarriage.0 -
You took it to mean that because you were trying, if you were not trying as soon as you heard a relative, however distant was pregnant you would immediatly attach her sayings to this.So most families have news of a pregnancy in the spring? Where else would you keep the toasting fork but by the fire? These people start off with something very general, and they narrow it down by reading your reactions and your responses until the end result seems uncanny, when actually what they started out with was pretty unimpressive.0 -

Anything more substantial said rather than just the bit about the toasting fork?0 -

I asked the question..in my head..not out loud and she gave me the correct answer..I still cant understand how she gave me the answer when she didnt even know the question...very spooky!!!0

Not exactly on topic, but a friend and I once messed around with a Ouija board, and were frightened at its accuracy. We asked all the usual questions, and the glass moved around the board as expected. Then it said there would be an accident, that same day, involving something beginning with the letters CA. My friend panicked, because she was going on a long car journey, and thought it meant that. When she got to her destination, safely as it turns out, she got a phone call to say that her boyfriend had a serious accident whilst canoeing. He almost drowned, and broke his leg trying to get out of the submerged canoe.0

How do they work?
What sort of accuracy besides the accident?0
