Well as a non believer I would have said total waste of time and money...however as some of you know I lost a parent last week and for some reason I decided to see a spiritualist on Monday evening. She was a lady a choose who works over 100 miles from me and she knew nothing about me, I told no one where I was going and at the last min my husband and son came too.

Well put it this way I will never disbelieve again. She even described in great detail the hall of my parents home with details of items on a bureau...dates of birth, the fact the funeral has not yet taken place...my parents last words to me, the last conversations I had with said parent! I could go on. I have no doubt that there is more to this. It just was not possible for her to have known anything about me. I didn't even give my name or number for a booking! No I don't care what anyone says, there is far more to it...

I went into the room happy as I didn't expect much but believe me, I am a very happy lady knowing what I know now.....
    Xx

How did you find this spiritualist?

Surely if there are messages to be passed on, they will find you?

Thanks for all the replies guys and gals, since tuesday night and wednesday I did a little checking out on this young man. I thought he was from another part of Wales, turns out he lives about 3-4 miles from me, his mother and my partners mother regularly attend the same weekly psychic/spooks meetings and have done for quite some time. He didn't make any money that night as he's 'just starting out', he did very very well considering he's just starting....? I don't know how he knew about the bedrooms but what he said about me is quite well known among friends and my rather large family. So I've made some sense of parts of it at least.:)

It runs in the female side of my family, my sister has some 'gifts' but she HATES it as it freaks her out. She doesn't like to talk about it, doesn't like to explore it and generally keeps it under the radar.

In my opinion true psychics don't flaunt it, most of those will be cold reading, though in some cultures it is a living. But these televised things are a nonsense.

Most things get twisted for monetary or entertainment value but at its real core their might be something to it.

I visited a couple of tarot card readers in my 20s (and a palm reader on Brighton pier recently) and they were complete charlatans.

However... also in my 20s I was moving house and noticed that the woman selling the house had tarot cards. We got talking and she offered to do a (free) reading for me.

There were a couple of things she was spot on about but the one that sticks in mind was she looked at the cards and said 'oh, I hope that's not for me' (meaning her) and then said, 'you have to take good care of your dog in July' (she had a dog too.)

In July I went on holiday with my friend and her boyfriend stayed at my house to look after my dog. My dog was unwell while I was away and he didn't take him to the vets and my dog died of liver failure a few days after I got back :(

I forgot to say, she also predicted I would marry a Turk, which I did (about 8 years after) and there was no way I believed that would come true as I was learning to speak Greek at the time and toying with the idea of moving to Greece.

She also foresaw a violent relationship with someone I hadn't actually met at that time and described their current partner to me.

Not sure I understand why people are so quick to say it is rubbish, but I used to be sceptical. Then my friend told me about a lady who had been tested by the British Astrological and Psychic Society and newspapers. So I had faith in her before I went. She was not expensive and she was helpful and nice. She is in Clacton on sea now, in Essex, her name is Rosemary Price. Sadly I am still in London and it is too far for me to go so I consult her by phone and email.

Do you realise that this thread was last posted on almost 2 years ago?

And you've also posted details of this woman on 2 other threads.
I've hit the :spam: button on those too.
