What? Do you mean that you have no collisions by driving that way? :rotfl:What you are doing is , completely wreck lessThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Those light/pale green Corsa C are always driven by old grannies round here. They squeal along in 1st gear when they should be in 3rd.0

So you admit that you deliberately drive dangerously.
You are not a confident driver, just an idiot who deserves to get their licence taken away before causing an accident from your stupidity.0 -
Actually Micras handle quite well, and their performance is about par with their competition. My wife had one and drove it very competently. It never gave any trouble, either.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

You will never ever see a traffic jam while driving a Nissan Micra. Unless of course you know how to use the rear view mirror. Hate the bloody things. Well actually the cars are ok it is the numptys that drive them that are the problem.0

Pretty unfair since we have multiple Micras in the family. If they are driven sensibly there is nothing at all wrong with them... nice and solid bangernomics with the K11 for anyone looking to buy one too.0

In my experience it's not Micras that are particularly slow.
That accolade goes to Citroen Berlingos (nearly always that weird metallic blue-green colour), any small 4x4s and especially old Land Rovers.
That is the galling thing. I drive an old Land Rover, it will be 60 next year, and I still get held up by Nissan Micras.0 -

Old Land Rovers are not the fastest of vehicles (I've had a few) but to be fair they have an excuse for going slowly. The annoyance is with people who believe that 38 mph on a clear 60 limit road is a reasonable speed. It's not the car, which will easily keep up with the flow. My feeling is that if you can't drive near the speed limit when the road is clear and it is safe to do so, you have no place on a modern road.
But to really boil my waters, drive on an empty, unlit main road after dark, at 20 below the limit, and keep your headlights dipped at all times. You can't see to go any faster, and I can't see far enough ahead to overtake you. Micra or not, use your flipping main beams. If someone is nice to you but rude to the waiter, they are not a nice person.0
