I have been trying for weeks to get a reply from Mighty Deals as they still owe me a little money. As you probably know they have now cut their phone line so the only contact is by email which they do not respond to. I have also sent an email to their MD, mike.rowe@moneyexpert.com, who is also ignoring my email or he is so inundated with complaints that he doesn't have enough hours in the day to deal with them!!! Thanks MSE for the chance to get this in the forum so that people are warned not to use a company where you cannot get any customer service. Shame on them.

Hello Scruffyone,

I am a Director at Mighty Deals. Can you please email customersfeedback@mightydeals.co.uk we will respond.

We are responding to all customers within 2 days, so I am not sure what has went wrong.

Kind Regards,

• When my wife hinted she'd like a £100 Nutri-Bullet Blender, I suggested perhaps we should buy an 'entry level' (read as 'a cheaper version') and see how long the fad lasts before making such a substantial investment. Imagine my delight when a Mighty Deals offer appeared in my Inbox for an Amazing Bullet Blender; it almost sounds the same and for a fraction of the price: a mere £20.99 & £4.99 p&p! "Worth £69... 71% Discount" the offer claimed. Inspired by such a bargain, I was soon submitting my details and received my voucher the very next day, which I immediately redeemed. 24 days I waited with baited breath for said blender to arrive – 10 days longer than the offer stated I should allow. Left frustrated I wrote to Mighty Deals Customer Services (MDCS) explaining that the delayed delivery of the item meant that I had to purchase an alternative locally (at great expense) in time for my wife's birthday. Surprisingly the reply came swift and apologetic, saying they would refund the cost, cancel the order and I should decline delivery if it arrives. 10 days later no refund and still no sign of the Amazing Bullet Blender, I wrote to them again, telling them as much. A reply came, again apologetic, claiming that the item had been sent to the courier and the courier didn't get the message to cancel the delivery, so the Amazing Bullet Blender was finally on its way! Only thing was, I had subsequently buckled under pressure from my better half and purchased the real thing. Unbelievably, the very same night, my neighbour came a knocking. "I've got a parcel for you", she said. Yes, you guessed it: it was the Amazing Bullet Blender. I wrote to Mighty Deals again, asking what to do now? The reply came, saying if I wanted a refund I had to return the package at my expense – to Spain! I replied, complaining that through no fault of my own I now have to pay return postage of an item I no longer require. Marvyn (a customer services agent) replied and, I quote, complete with typos, "I can confirm that to obtain a refund for this purhase from the mercahnt this would need to be returned at your expense to the merchants offices". Apart from berating them publicly and sharing my experience on every consumer forum Google can unearth, what more can I do...?

Mighty deals - they are rip of merchants - please do not use them.
I spent money on a discounted Argos voucher. They stated an email with the voucher would be sent which I never received and they have no proof of sending. I however, have proof they did not send. Not in my inbox or spam. I overlooked that voucher hadn't arrived as so busy with family work and travels. When I finally realised and sent a message requesting the voucher they are now are saying voucher expired and they will not resend. I have had "banging my head against a brick wall" conversations with a Rosie Grimes to no avail.
Absolutely despicable company - use them at your peril!!!

Sorry, but can you please explain how that proves you never received the email?

Using that weak argument, I am sure they can 'prove' they sent the email... they have a copy in their outbox. :rotfl:

You would think so - but when I questioned them they said they do not have a copy. Instead they sent me the subject line of the supposed email they sent entitled
"your MightyDeals Voucher"

I typed this into my email search and nothing came up pertaining to Mighty Deals apart from the first email assuring me that the voucher would be sent to my inbox and the subsequent recent emails where I have queried the missing voucher. I sent Mighty Deals a screen shot of this and they still refuse to accept liability.
I will not use them again - especially as this is a common occurrence with them if other forum posts are anything to go by

Their business model is built around people not remembering to go through all the steps to redeem their 'voucher' and when they do hope that they don't mind not receiving the product since they will give up because of the abysmal service they receive

This sums up their business model so well

But can you prove you didn't delete their email to you?

Of course you can't.
Therefore you have absolutely no proof that they didn't sent you an email.
