I've been looking on here at the Bereavement section of the forum, found a note that sometimes insurance companies lapse cover when a person dies, so I've been liaising with my mum's about that. They're fine, as long as the house is occupied, which it will be.Save
Not quite the same, but, with Mr Watty's dad we found a specialised insurance company that would cover the house even when empty and if he was in hospital for an extended time. It might be worth considering if insurance comes up over this difficult time. They were not cheap, but peace of mind that it is covered was worth it.
And hope sore throat goes with an evening of good drama watching and salt gargle and maybe a honey and lemon and a 'little extra'.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
