Thanks earthgirl! Yes, I did enjoy my little scoutabout - I went to a tourist railway and met a black cat :) name of Chloe, who was much too wise to let herself be stroked :) it tied in to genealogy too, as my great grandfather was a railway clerk in the 1880s and onwards. Gained a few plot points for the novel, too, if I ever get to write it.

Very cold here again today, but at least the sky is blue :):):)

Ug, beanie, a skip run! Not the way I'd choose to spend a sunny Sunday, but at least it will get your house/property a bit clearer. On the kondo thread, I've been asking about bonfires, as all the pruning I'm doing has a lot of woody stuff that can then be recycled onto the soil, and have a good clearout that way, without it going to landfill.

Remember to turn your face to the sun when you go out :):):)

Sunny & Crisp here! - Kitchen blitzed - Birdies have been fed - recycling & garbage out - two loads of laundry put away, one put up & another in the machine...

OH contented himself with preparing bbq brunch for us - bacon, eggs & flatbreads - everything always tastes so much better cooked outside!!!

OH is very envious of your trip to the railway line!

Awww! RT, when I'm not hiding from lurgies in the same way, we can all go have a play at the railway, if he's an enthusiast its a great place, you can get right up close to the restoration work. And there was an open coal fire in the ticket room hearth yesterday, which was very welcome indeed.

I'm envious of bacon, eggs and flatbreads :j

Been writing reviews on goodreads ... I'm a bit of a perfectionist about the written word :o:D still, I'm off out for a walk now :)

Good for you, beanie, it all helps.

Books. <<sigh>> Three books on dowsing, and two on crop circles, all bought in the 1990s, and I've read part of one on dowsing, but thats it. This is before there were websites, of course - no googling in those days, and if you were interested in anything unusual, forget it, you had to buy a book. So thats an easy one - they can go, I've already bookmarked half a dozen active websites :):):) Its prettier online as well, I love the patterns :)

Books - agreed! - SIGH - OH just unpacked another hugh box of them - lol - at least if they were in alpha order by author surname I'd feel more enthusiastic...;):o

Pretty sure enthusiast is not the word to discribe him - but it's more polite than any that spring to mind!!!:D:D:D
