    Happy Friday!:j:j:j

Bright Sunny and Cold in this part of the South - how about where you are?

Might venture out for a blustery walk later this morning - the farm hand is out now there bundled to the gills! - I take that as a sign that not now is the way to go!

Morning! Make that three, for sunny and cold - though I've got my washing on the line, more in hope than expectation, as they say :)

Today is the actual day of my mum's birthday, and I've only been able to speak with her for a few minutes because there's so much going on, between deliveries of flowers and our hamper and people popping in to see her. It's lovely that she can use the word "excited" about her 90th birthday :j:j:j

She did thank you, greent - and it carried on today, my sister, my brother and my SiL went out with her to a posh restaurant in Liverpool, where the footballers go apparently and had some very lovely food :)

I managed to get out, scouting about some footpaths near my house, so at least I did something. It's the beginning of week 25 in my retirement countdown, so not long now till I can join in the family celebrations again :)
