It never rains but it pours doesn't it.

Hope your letter writing skills are up for it. I have a friend who will contest all of them and wins about 75% (not that she gets that many)

I got *done* about 2 years ago (I have stopped smoking now) - the difference was I was out on foot and caught bang to rights.

I tried to contest it along the lines of *I was waiting for it to die out before I out it in the bin ;)* - I lost :rotfl:

It was a pain, but I did it so I paid it - the annoying thing here is he didnt!!!

I was given a parking fine about 18 months ago. Basically I check the board, but didn't see the small piece of A4 paper that was taped to it (it was dark and raining) so I had to pay it.

But it is annoying, especially if you haven't done anything wrong. I tried along the lines of unclear notice. But didn't get anywhere.

    Good luck

    Hi

You should ask them for the proof that they have to say that it was your OH that littered.

It really should be photographic or something to that effect. If they can't provide anything then maybe your just a scapegoat to them.

To be honest don't the councils have more important things to do then watch people dropping a bit of paper? I'm all for the environment and that but come on - get out there and be a bit more bothered about catching the real criminals rather than finding ways to get your monthly income boost.

    :T :T :T :T :T
