So this thread isn't about getting a refund.

Is that what you are saying?

Its still not too late to realise this. OP basically ensures coverage for/from people who have lost money to copycats.
Copycats traders also start losing money as a result of chargebacks. That was a part of wider strategy. However, it is not a guaranteed guide to get refund - no where in the posts it mentions.

All consumer must read what they are buying. However, the consumer here who paid money to copycats is in an advantageous position for refund from the bank. These website by nature are misleading an unfair contract terms is already is public domain and investigated by authority. So banks are in a much better position to make a decision on refunds, which will favour the consumer..

Quiet unexpectedly, as you can see, OP also proved out to be a good instrument to antagonize people who disbelieve in moral trading. They are the very same people who think reading and clicking is everything about parting with money to rouge traders

So can you rename the thread title "Steps to take if you have been ripped-off by a copy-cat government website" because it implies these are the steps to get your money back.

Or alternatively edit your OP and put "However, it is not a guaranteed guide to get refund - no where in the posts it mentions."

Not sure whether that was a 'yes' or a 'no'.

Can anyone help with a translation?

Are you posting on behalf of house?
And did you read the title of this thread? It says steps to take not maybe this will get your money back
    63 mortgage payments to go.

I was wondering why he'd started referring to himself in the 3rd person - perhaps he's forgotten which account he has logged in to.

If you got a "sense" of something from my post, then that is an achievement to me. There is no relevance to an YES or NO answer to certain questions.

Sometimes the confusion is normal amongst posters, especially in this thread ...when someone himself doesn't know the values they represent in their posts. Others resort to haphazard attempts to prove me wrong, and that results in abuse and name calling:rotfl: .

Sorry to be saying this Hpuse, but sadly I didn't get any sense from your post.

Yes, you are right... for certain questions.

But for a simple straightforward question like "are you saying this thread isn't about getting a refund?", surely even you could provide a simple straightforward yes or no answer?

    That is so true.
See, you can get some things right.
Thank you for pointing that out.
