''Please accept this email as part of our "Pre-Action Conduct" (whats this?) required by the Ministry of Justice before a Claimant can issue proceedings against a Defendant.''

Pre Action conduct is basically things a company must do before bringing court action, usually writing to you and telling you they are considering bringing court action unless you sort things out beforehand.

You can read the PreAction protocols https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/procedure-rules/civil/rules/pd_pre-action_conduct

You should respond to that letter spelling out your reasons you do not agree with their billing you.

Someone has received an N1 form today so it appears they are taking court action. They'd received the infamous 'meeting' letter back at the beginning of December.

Anyone still 'fearing' briteeshp4asspoohS3ervices.com's cheap tactics to extract money by all that legal scaremongering - just ignore

Check this post & this post - this has been discussed here before. Simply ignore and move on.

That doesn't help when they sending to court. Anyone has any advice on what to do or what happened to people after receiving those emails?

Sorry, I have no experience with this company, but until you receive papers directly from the court, you are probably safe to ignore their threats.

Ditto, but exactly that. This is no different to the debt collector threatograms the parking companies have their DC "friends" send out.

Wealdroam - in a few weeks time, I suspect another 'story' will be published here.
In that, I would bet the author/creator/poster would be narrating how he ended up getting a court letter from one of these copycat companies.

After that post - another person will soon follow with a reply post saying that he too got a court letter. He will make an explicit statement in the post that he wouldn't have got the court letter had he or she paid up the outstanding amount when the first letter was received.

Message conveyed. Mission accomplished. :T. Do you now see how it all works?

EDIT : Needless to say, there will be 'contempt', swear words and *bleeps* and other adjectives on copycat websites added by these two posters. After all, what matters is money, honey:cool: who cares about contempt and reputation on a public forum.

It sounds to me that you are insinuating that MAR2505 and esmerellda are lying about receiving these letters.

    Shame on you, hpuse.

Now that I will agree with although I might have said 'do' rather than 'can'.

Why aren't the Government doing anything about this?

Pollycat, Look what has happened in the last year. Do you see an answer to your own question above?
