  • I was arguing with UK Services & Support Ltd who have the ukpassportoffices.co.uk website saying that ASA found them misleading and they sent me this: ukpassportoffices.co.uk/asa-adjudication-cancelled-uk-services-and-support-ltd/

I called ASA to see if it was true and they said yes, the Independent Reviewer DID find a "serious flaw" in their investigation! cant believe it, these guys are supposed to protect us and yet with all their government powers they cant even get their own house in order!!!

    Summary
Their is NO Adjudication against UKPassportOffices.co.uk nor any “Upheld” complaint against the accusation that our website could be confused as a government resource or that customers could be “mislead” into believing that they were paying for the passport fee when using our website. The A14-273276 investigation found at: http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2014/9/UK-Services-and-Support-Ltd/SHP_ADJ_273276.aspx#.VJGCkiusV8E is no longer active due to the error in the executives investigation.
Those who wish to validate that this is the case should contact the ASA on: 020 7492 2222

Above from the website quoted by Susie1990.

(Pity that UKpassportoffices don't know the difference between 'there' & 'their.)

So they're trumpeting that they sneaked past an ASA investigation on a technicality? And they think that's a positive? :rotfl:

    Yes indeed, bod.

At 8pm...and it wasn't even a person on the other side just a robotic voice.
They sent me a letter today chasing the money. I hope they will soon get tired of it all. Have the other victims heard anything more from them?

It's seems there are other victims on another forum who have received the same letters all with 4 against one ruling in blah blah blah but as the ASA had to reopen the investigation do you think it is worth all ringing them explaining our situation so it might help them in their investigation which in return would help us stand against those scam people?
    What do people think?

    Here you go....
Many consumers misled by copycat websites, ASA finds
The ASA said the findings of the research, conducted on its behalf by Ipsos Mori, into the public's experience of copycat websites, were part of its commitment to protect consumers from misleading advertising to tackle concerns about copycat sites.

Susie1990.... Who did you speak to@ASA :rotfl:,
by the way - surprised to find this thread is still active with the support of 'long standing' MSE members, may be it is in the best interest of "R1chard H0ward" of p4ssport 0ffices.co.uk....lol
Also, why is R1chard H0ward writing a long essay rather than trying to remove his upheld complaint from ASA website as per Hayden Phillips independent review....

Wonder why people stoop this low for grabbing others money online with a 2-bit copycat website!...God bless.
