Oh... that's ok then.... if you say so. :D

It is not me who says it - most auditors would agree, except may be those hired by copycats traders :-)

The alleged court claim is reported here --> http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/showthread.php?58752-UK-Services-amp-Support-Ltd-Passport-Scam&p=508618#post508618

Some of these companies do sign up to forums to post misinformation and false accounts to support their scams.

    Or it could be genuine.

Unless more information is forthcoming it's not really possible to tell.

Personally, I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove themselves false or it becomes clear that they are not genuine.

    Not so hpuse, it seems.

I can't believe this! Ok I have done something really stupid by not checking what I was signing for with this company but now that I am really desperate for some real advice to help me get out of this situation I am been accused of not been genuine! It doesn't seem people are here to help. I don't know what I have to say to prove I am genuine but I don't want to be in trouble nor do I want a court claim against my name! So anyone who can help thank you everyone else who think I am not genuine please don't write back as I am upset enough as it is
  • Do you by any chance have any legal cover with your house insurance?
These sometimes have a telephone service that you can call for advice or give access to a solicitor at no cost or at a reduced rate.

Thank you Shaun I will double check. Trying to also get an appointment with the citizen advice bureau see if they can help at all. I don't want a court claim to affect my credit score as we are trying to possibly look at getting a mortgage
  • I might be wrong, but I don't think that losing the court case will have any effect on your long term credit rating.
Provided that you pay the outstanding amount within 28 days then you can get the CCJ removed from the court register

If you pay within the judgement time frame then it won't even be registered as a CCJ. (That's assuming they do take court action and actually win). Lost court claims don't appear on credit registers, or they shouldn't anyway, unless the judgement isn't paid on time.

Yes, if you lose in court and a CCJ is obtained against you which you then pay within one calendar month of the judgment date, then it's registration on the register of judgments and fines will be cancelled and it will not appear on your credit reference files.

Fail to pay an awarded judgment within one calendar month however results in it staying for 6 years on your credit record and the register.

Cancellation or endorsement of entries relating to judgments of the High Court or a county court

11.—(1) This regulation applies where an entry in the Register is one to which regulation 8(1)(a) applies (judgments entered in the High Court or a county court).

    (2) Where it comes to the attention of the appropriate officer that—

    (a) the debt to which the entry relates has been satisfied one month or less from the date of the judgment; or

    (b) the judgment to which the entry relates has been set aside or reversed,

that officer shall send a request to the Registrar to cancel the entry.

    (3) Where it comes to the attention of the appropriate officer that the debt has been satisfied more than one month from the date of the judgment, that officer shall send a request to the Registrar to endorse the entry as to the satisfaction of the debt.
