I do not have any issue with the sites that are normally mentioned, however that site is clearly trying to dupe people. I agree it pushes the boundaries.0 -

Of course it's not a coincidence and I agree it pushed or even may exceed the boundaries. Still doesn't alter the fact if people read what was there, they wouldn't get caught out.0 -

What came first,
- these copycats websites OR
- people coincidently surfed-in and failed to read and purchased something
Hence those consumers deserve the benefit of doubt at least once.0 -

That would be very nice.
But legally they don't get the benefit of the doubt after using one of the copycat websites.
Saying they 'deserve the benefit of doubt' is therefore pointless.0 -
I thought I'd re-read the terms & conditions on the passport UK site it seems they change them quite frequently I think I was caught out during a change over
This is on website at the moment
We are upgrading our support services and are currently unable to offer our passport application checking service at present
You may go to either your local post office or directly to HM Passport Office for your checking service.
I just hope they are more clear so nobody else gets ripped off0 -
Here you go, contact page for "customers", as you call them.
The 'gullible'?
The 'easily conned'
The 'duped'?
Still waiting for my apology BTW re the 'keywords'.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

See the fate of a poor copycat soul from Redbourn!!
The website dvla-driving-licence.co.uk was seized, hosted site got ripped and torn apart and domain ownership taken back by Cabinet Office and transferred to DVLA as of yesterday.
More to come....watch this space...0 -

Weve already discussed this though, but as usual, because you didnt like the reply you ignored it.
The only reason the DVLA have taken ownership of that domain, is because the term DVLA is copyrighted and as such the registrar ordered that it be handed over.0 -

What you are saying is this site is an officially-illegal copycat(hence it got taken down) and the other ones are OK to stay as it is since they aren't breaking any copyrights?. Could you please confirm, powerful_rogue.0
