    I have followed your advice

    OK.
So you have followed the advice in the first post of this thread provided by hpuse.
    How did you get on?
Have you had a refund of the money you paid?
I'm really interested (and I'm sure that lots of other people who have regularly posted on this specific thread will be too) if the advice given by hpuse has been of any use.

Remove all non-PIS online passport application service

    Poorly worded petition.

There is another similar petition that addresses the issue of copycat websites in general:
    http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/60484

    That is also poorly worded.

My argument with this site is does not give a receipt after purchase to provide details of goods or services provided .This is a basic right when you buy goods from a shop on the high street

    No such right exists.
Even though most retailers will give a receipt, they are under no legal obligation to do so unless you specifically request one.

Mistakenly clicked and UK-PASSPORT .NET took their service fee in Dec 2013.

I contacted Online Dispute dept complaining this is a fraudulnt scam designed to steal credi card details. They sent me a new card straight away.
They then credited full amount taken back in Feb.

I suggest to add report fraud to the bank as well.

Seriously?! This is STILL going? Ye gods... If only all this ranting was put to constructive use, what a difference it could make...

Correct. Seeing the right doesn't exist I'm not sure how it's even managed to become a basic right!

Deliberate fraud is doubtful unless you can prove that they stored and re-used your creditcard details. That normally does not happen since internet payment transactions are processed through a gateway.

However, under English laws, obtaining pecuniary advantage by deception can be proved as a crime.

This page seems very clear (and a clear link from the home page) https://taxdisc-direct.uk.com/prices.php

And they have a contact page for customers https://taxdisc-direct.uk.com/contact.php So no need to do the stalkerish weird domain lookup up like you have.

It is not a fraudulent scam designed to steal credit card details.

It is, however, designed to part people who don't read what is on the screen before rushing to enter credit card details from a sum of money.

Beware - some people have had the money refunded to their account then taken again because the financial institution have decided that the transaction was legal.
