    Thanks INOD and ani :D

Nothing much to report really. Yesterday was a NSD, today I'm going out for tea with some friends and have £30 budgeted for this.

I'm just having a bit of a think about what goals I want to achieve next year - the big one is obviously becoming debt free but need to have a proper think about the rest.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.8.25 - £106,362.86
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.98

So I spent £27 last night, had a lovely time catching up with friends and pleased that I didn't go over budget :). I'm hoping for a NSD today, just about to go into work so need to avoid the shops on the way home.

    Payday today - £77.42
    - £30 food
    - £30 loan
    - £10 electricity bill
    - £5 charity donation
    - £2.42 emergency fund

Paying the £30 to the loan takes the debt to under £3500 :j:j and also to two thirds paid :j:j feels like a fab end to the year :D

I've decided my goals for next year, other than paying off the debt, are to get a decent emergency fund up and running, get into a proper routine with going to the gym and try out at least three new recipes a month.

    Happy hogmanay everyone :D

Happy New Year :) it's been a NSD and I've also been to the gym. I caught up on all the surveys in my inbox and managed to cash out £5.50 in @mazon vouchers so that's a good start towards Christmas 2016. Back to work tomorrow so better get to bed.

NSD 2 yesterday, today I've spent £5.49 on food. I've made up a meal plan for the week based on what we've got in the flat so hopefully shouldn't need to buy anything else during the week.

Congrats MissTara on what you have achieved so far. I'm only just starting out on clearing up my debts (like you just over 10k), but seeing what you have done in 2 years is fantastic. Will certainly inspire me to keep to my guns and try and clear my debts!

Thanks nessauk, good luck with paying off your debt. When I first started this diary, it seems like it would take ages but the 2 years have flown past and I still can't quite believe that I will be debt free by the end of this year.

Nothing much to report today, another NSD and I've been to the gym. An early start tomorrow as I've got an early shift with 2nd job followed by late shift at my work so better get off to bed.

A NSD and gym day yesterday :) Today will almost certainly be a spend day as my sister is up so imagine we'll go for a drink or something.

    Payday - £86.24
    - £16.24 loan
    - £30 food
    - £20 social
    - £10 emergency fund
    - £10 electricity bill

I spent less than £10 of the food budget last week so I've moved the rest into the DDs account just now. I'll see how much is left in there at the end of the month and decide what to do with it then.
